Police drive the speed limit when trying to catch speeders. Fast things are easier to see when you're going slower.

This is annoying as fuck on the highway when everyone is too scared to drive faster than the cop, which forms a rolling road-block. I always just do like 5 MPH faster than him and nothing ever happens. Just fucking pass him people!!

In the UK, vehicles have the right of way on the road. Pedestrians have right of way on zebra crossings, or in pelican crossings when the lights are flashing yellow.

I did that recently and the cop pulled me over.

Thankfully he wasn't having bad day and understood when I told him why I sped up, that this was my exit and just let me go after checking my name.

Yeah 15 is usually the threshold here, depending on the road although you're still risking it going more than 10 over.
If I see a cop speeding I'll usually match his speed and hang back a little.

I think one thing is don't hit your brakes when you see a cop. That gives away that you were doing something wrong, and it's usually too late anyways. Just let off the gas and have the engine decrease your speed.

WA state has passing laws that allow you to pass other vehicles at a rate of speed higher than the posted speed limit. You know, for safety.
