ITT: We post the absolute shittest daily drivers.

I agree my friend has one and it's been giving him so many problems

Also a lot of our friends are over 6ft which makes sitting in the backseat a pain in the ass.

Hitting close to home.

Do I win?

pussy.

It's a nice car but holy shit there's no luggage space.

And these are even worse.

Mazada, home of the 50k engine rebuild.

>Also a lot of our friends are over 6ft which makes sitting in the backseat a pain in the ass.
Fucking manlet cars. I can't even fit in an s2000

What?
DDd one for years without issue.
But then I'm not a retard.

>DD an RX8 for years
>not a retard
Interesting

Shitty mileage and only 260HP to push 4.5k lb, all on top of a crossover frame that provides 6 inches of clearance.

It's a decent daily driver, but a shitty truck

Anything with a track-spec clutch.

Had to do it when my DD was in the shop. My left leg was like a rock though from traffic

I'm 6'2 and daily my s2k, unless you're 6'3-5 you're just a faggot

>I'm 6'2 and daily my s2k
>unless you're 6'3....
so you just barely fit in an s2000?

I'm comfortable in it, what's your point? You're saying it's for manlets when it's clearly not

I loved my sky to death but it was such a piece of shit.

It was a charming piece of shit though.

lol, bitch.

I've been running a 3 puck Exedy for 4 years now.
Won the slowest drag competition at a car meet with that clutch.

Its starting to slip now, I'll probably go back to a stage 1 this summer.

I daily'd a 8lb fly wheel and stage 3 clutch with a short shifter, I got great at matching gears fast though

>shitty EVERYTHING

it does nothing well.

Same. Fidanza light weight flywheel with a short shifter. I dont now how much it weighted, I wanna say 14lb.

It's just a Pilot with a bed in my eyes, not great but not terrible either

WHY WONT YOU STOP RATTLING

>Commuting to some 9/5 shitjob hoping for a promotion in 5 years so you can marry your 5.5/10 gf

>not enjoying the most out of your.car and disregarding creature comforts designed for petty civilians

>not making mg the most out of your education while having a healthy trust fund from your parents

I hate you boring fucks

Agreed.

How are you alive?

>getting married
enjoy being a slave

...

...

Protip: you're not actually 6'2"

>Fucking manlet cars

iktfb

Salty

>marrying a dumb, controlling bitch
>being a spineless cuck

I only 6'4 and I sat in one of these things in a showroom with the seat all the way down and all the way back and my forehead was literally partially out of the sunroof

Reliant Robin

>first world problems

He can change oil every 3k miles and not limiter bash from cold starts
I'd say he isn't a retard

>tfw american built Subaru
Doesn't rattle at all.

>tfw japanese built wrx doesn't rattle ether

seriously what the hell are you all talking about?

Which is yours?

can confirm, have an 04 that had the engine replaced at 40k.

im 6'2" and fit in my friends s2k just fine. but another inch really does make a big difference ya dumbass

spoken like a true bus pass holder

How was it a piece of shit?
I'm Ausfag, we didn't get the Sky/Sunfire but I've always thought they looked pretty interesting.

Honda civic, without a doubt. Worst car ever made, any year, every year.

Second place goes to the toyota camry.

Weak bait

Two friends of mine drive fiat 500s

was meant for

It's like these fags can't comprehend Torque or gearing... Car of the Year 3 different years.

It's a truck made for what mall crawlers do 99% of the time.

>sufficient space for one or two people
>sufficient space for one or two people groceries
>easy to park
>decent fuel economy
How does that not make them great daily drivers?

It was more about the general space to sit inside in terms of height

>stage 1
does your mommy let you play gran turismo so much?

but what about the Corolla

It's staggering how many people have bought RX8's as daily drivers without even knowing what kind of engine it has, or how to maintain it.

I've known a few people that have done this, and the motor almost always goes within 20k.

looks fucking sick, but i've heard the aircooled engines in these bugs overheat in traffic.

Mine hasn't. But that doesn't mean they don't. Mine if anything runs really cool all the time.

The obvious solution is to feed it more air.

>fuel economy slightly better than a loaded semi truck
>tire drone like a wheeled tank
>turning radius of an aircraft carrier
>hope you like parking at the far end of the lot due to sheer physical size (and that's in the US, not the far more compact rest of the world)

Get a rag top

Shouldn't they have fans attached to the crank with a belt to move air over the engine?
At least that's how it works with older 911s, doubles as the alternator as well

That is how it works

+1

They fucked with the diff to make it flip over like that

really? like what did they do to it?

Probably welded it so it would keep putting power down with only one wheel on the ground. I can't imagine a normal one being much safer to daily, though.

I thought from back then (when they were made) they would all be like Detroit lockers...like full floating. power to both wheels all the time. no? Sorry, I've never even seen one outside of top gear lol

I think they used open diffs, it was just safer

yeah would definatly make sense. In the episode I just remember them going pretty quick down some turns and it just kinda tips over slowly. It didn't seem like there was much power going to either wheel ahahah
