Well tried out the yellowbird with SVStreet tires.
It still quite stable, not retard proof but easy enough. Without the turbo it's retard proof stable though.
At least it's the first car that doesn't feel like massive understeer, mainly because the turbos sudden torque boost can help you destablize the car and make it go sideways.

Also what lap time should I aim for with the yellowbird with SVStreet tires and turbo on the SPA map?

To me that would make every car frustrating to drive and I'd find a different controller to use very quickly instead of continuing to play with malfunctioning steering. It actually changes the position relative to the car. The track looks exactly the same at all times. Neither FOV or any zoom is applied.
Personally it never bothered me since I look straight ahead instead of at the back of the car while driving.

Shouldn't it be the other way round? Steering should go light and you should have no feedback if you hydroplane

It's hard too describe but it's a light vibration, although i'm using an old 360 controller so it probably varies from that of xbone users.
