Which racing discipline has the highest skilled drivers?

Which racing discipline has the highest skilled drivers?

I want to say either between Rally or Formula 1.

What you guys think?

Watch lemans at sunrise.

>can't see shit captain
>windshield full of bugs
>been racing flat out for 3 hours, really have to pee
>massive closing speeds on shittier classes
>insanely tight cockpit
>200+mph
>lap times still don't drop off.

MotoGP is where they matter the most, the worst driver in the best car in F1 would still finish well, the best rider on the worst bike on the grid would still be on the podium in motogp

Nascar

The hardest part about being a nascar driver is telling your parents you're fucking their daughter.

>the worst driver in the best car in F1 would still finish well
>crashtor maldonado

rally drivers have a skill of responding to unexpected road conditions
F1 driver will never need this skill

>best rally driver of all time
>so many DNFs
>so so many DNFs

rally driving is just about being too dumb to slow down and lucky enough to see the end of the race.

Saburu not finishing is kind of normal.

Casey stoner goes to v8 supercars and can't even qualify
Lol

pro drift racing

No.

And? Schumacher didn't fare any better.

Damon hill started on bikes then swapped to f1 though

...

Maldonado in a Mercedes would be on the podiums.

He is an f1 race winner remember?

What?

>McMeme
>best rally driver of all time

Step up mon ami

>all but 1 factory team drops out
>remaining factory team wins
>giving credit to the driver

If maldonado was in a mercedes, he would be the same place he was with the lotuses, off track, in the gravel.

this

If the criterium is the number of helicopter jet engines having been crashed into by former Formula 1 drivers, it's definitely NASCAR.

Citroen didn't finish first and second in every rally, if it was just down to the car it would have been. Loeb beat Ogier consistently too.

Easily Rally, you need to memorise far more and deal with far more variables.

Rally no contest, even the pit crews are boss.

dubs times 3.

highest skill= rally driver
lowest skill= drag racer

WRC
Le Mans 24hr
I was about to say Super GT too but with this one it all comes down to how much a manufacturer will throw resources and time to perfectly tune a machine, just like F1. Driving a fast and expensive machine doesn't really make you a very high skilled driver, although it can contribute.

rally, absolutely no question about it
formula is literally a meme

dumb weebposter

This thread is like an /asp/ argument. Pale fags living with mom who can't even do 10 pushups debate over what martial art is the best and most lethal.
Meanwhile actual practitioners (racers) all have high respect for eachother and the different skillsets they've developed in their various diciplines

you can learn to be a good rally driver. f1 takes reflexes and fearlessness

>f1 takes reflexes and fearlessness
every motorsport takes that you milkshitter
it's just like this guy said Veeky Forums will always find some shit to argue why is X better than Y

Obviously rally

lowest skill would be NASCAR or any american 'motor' sport.

F1 takes more. It's more akin to being a fighter pilot to driving. And I'm not shitting on any other form of motorsport
