Plaza is an ok map. Works vest with objective games. Strongholds especially play well. It's also one of the only maps where the storm rifle can be countered due to long lines of sight, so that's good.
It's worst in Free For All due to the over shield. The Sniper can also be used to leech off people's engagements.

Overshields are terrrible. They simply don't work in the Halo sandbox. They're legitimately map unbalancers. Active cammo kind of works, so does speed boost
