That is a good point and I'm not gonna argue for people who kill their fellow countrymen, but in America we have a shit ton of people who aren't muslims committing mass shootings, I feel in these people's cases it's more of a problem with mental health and they cling to some silly ideology.

I live in literally the most diverse district in the United States so I find it hard to say that "all muslims are crazy" when like at least 10% of my friends are muslims and some of them are the most liberal areligious people I know.

The current solution of our government is to make deals with the muslim religious establishment, so they can form more liberal, westernized, imams. I have nothing against the idea but i am afraid a lot of muslims won't buy it, and will cause them to grow even more hateful of the west.

I think we must fund democracies in the middle east.

In the west, we must take some responsibilities for radical islam. We funded Israel, we support the radical Saudi Arabian regime, and we ousted an Iranian westernlike democracy. We must help democracy in all its forms in the middle east and boycott nations like Saudi Arabia unless they show some form of democracy. Hate on Iran all we want, but at least they have some semblance of a democracy.

Obviously this won't happen though, but it's hopeful thinking.
