Any Kiwi's or Strayans ITT have any experience with Yota A series engines? Oceania seems like the only place making parts for them so has anyone ordered from MRP? They make a twin scroll turbo manifold for the T3 and T4 flange and was wondering if it's worth $510 American dollaridoos
Robert James
To the user in the last thread without a garage. Where you at nigga?
try looking for TRD (toyota racing developments) on the web they are the ony ones who do go faster bits for 4AGE/4AGZE or try a owners club
Thomas Collins
TRD has nothing in yankland, few have anything especially a twin scroll manifold which is why I was asking about MRP, owners clubs are stuck thinking it's too expensive and you might as well stick with standard turbo which is a shit idea when I have the ability for twin scroll
Lincoln Richardson
Do you think 4 grand is too much for a 05 Lancer ES Auto with 250k km? Ad says it has been well looked after and serviced regularly. Guess I'm only really worried about transmission dying within a year or two.
Jacob Davis
Yes. I found a few manual ones for 4k with under 80k km's on it.
Ayden Price
yes a friend of mine is selling an 08 fiesta with 142 thou k's for 4500. so that lancer is dear as fuck
David Walker
The actual previous thread
Jackson Roberts
yes i get nothing stateside but TRD does internet sales...

Sebastian Price
its meant to be a nice sunny day saturday so im hyped for this.

What's a cheap instrument cluster repair place in SA?
Asher Cook
buy a whole new cluster mate. what car? if its a rare car then yeah repair but if its a common car just replace it.
Nicholas Long
You could probably buy a NOS one if it's a rare/old car. if it's newer visit a wreckers.
Kevin Sullivan
It's just a e series falcon, apparently the little gear that turns the odo break teeth off all the time
Asher Nguyen
finally a better picture of the damage also got a quote for the rear quarter panel and the spoiler, they say they want 900 AUD so i'm getting that done a swell
>go to reception >ask to get quote >desklady takes a look >says something about needing a whole new panel >wat >asks some indian guy to take a look >yeah looks worse than it is, just 700 maybe more if a mount of the bumper broke >everyone at work told me to not get it done because of apparently huge labor costs
Justin Morris
Yet they dont mention anywhere about even a turbo manifold, which is what I was asking about, so do you or anyone else ITT have experience with Manon Racing Products?
Anthony Lopez
not that bad really.
spent 1500 couple years ago when i over cooked it around a corner and bent the axle.
little bit disappointed, coulda had cheap stripped down track/drag car, but noooo you had to go and fix it lol
Connor Hill
Was this your first RWD?
Logan White
yeah looked worse in the dark and the passenger door not opening gave a worse impression
should have done that man would be sick
if i had more time here, i'd buy a falcon station wagon and swap all the parts over
yeah but it was more the traction control being off than the rwd that got me
Blake Diaz
you said that you were trying to do a skid, why would you have the traction on
pretty disappointed mate. that sorta shitty skidding reflects poorly on us as a country. should've been practicing in a carpark or industrial estate mate.
Caleb Williams
>bored so self diagnosing myself with Wikipedia Pretty sure I have delayed sleep phase disorder now, works perfectly for night shift.
Also pretty sure I have mild autism. But who doesn't on this site
Tyler Moore
This. He is the reason why we can't have nice cars until we are old and boring
Christian Baker
the only thing you have is hypochondria mate.
Brody Torres
nah man i didn't say i wanted to rip a skid i wanted to pull out on a main road between traffic and instead ripped a skid which ended in a sign
Ian Perry
oh, I understand you accidentally ripped a skid and you have no idea why the traction control was off because you definitely didn't want to lose traction correct?
Lincoln Bennett
thats right blame the immigrants
atleast we have moved forward to include other races
Brody Foster
>tell nan her car is fucked and needs work >couple weeks later the clutch gives out right in the middle of the city vindicated boyss
Brody Barnes
I was skidding before I turned onto the main street. I didn't necessarily want to skid onto the main Road. But did anyway and lost control. Dann whities coming to Australia. Ruining it for everyone.
Lucas Carter
is there any stigma surrounding nissan stageas
dont know anything about them, found a couple cheap ones looking at wagons on carsales what are they like?
Isaiah Ward
>i want a skyline but i want to be a special snowflake too: the car get a pulsar or something ya shitcunt
Sebastian Gray
but user I want something bigger they look like something that have all been trashed anyway
Jonathan Russell
camry wagon 4 u
Jace Harris
>tfw no aw11
Levi Clark
only a small selection of the newer shape ones (the v6 ones) haven't been thrashed. be wary of ones which claim to be rwd but are just awd with no front driveshafts
Matthew Bennett
im just looking for a daily driver with room and a bit of power, ill probably leave it the way it is, I just dont want to deal with another commodore
are they all imports
Dominic Peterson
yep. if you find an older one that is mint then you're a god, haven't seen one in the last few years that hasnt been towing/drifting/lowered/thrashed
Angel Watson
thanks user
Josiah Phillips
if i bought a 300zx, would i also have to buy an engine crane?
Carter Thomas
>tfw still havent seen fatcunt
Connor Bennett
Which one should I choose? I'm on my Ps in NSW. They're all the manual variants.
Justin Adams
>on my ps
the most reliable one user, you'll thank me when youre 20
Christian Watson
get the silvia instread of the 200sx, half the price
Gavin Thomas
that was quick
Adrian Davis
Couldn't find any S14 S2 ones. I don't like the looks of the original S14.
Lol. I love it when people buy a new car and crash it within a month.
>Buys a decent car >Has to hoon it
Why do people do this? Buy a $500 beater to thrash honestly. There is no point ruining a decent car by being a hoon.
Also >Going to insurance about $1000 worth of damage
Your insurance will go up from that too lol. GL
Brody Ross
I mean I can't drive turbo S15s as a p plater, and I have no interest in the n/a version of them. I've been allowed to drive turbos and V8s in NSW since 2014. However cars above 130kw/tonne and cars that the RMS considers "high performance" (aka "these cars aren't that powerful but we think hoons will drive them") like the S2k are banned.
Brody Bell
S13 is p plate legal thank god. Well, it is a hatchback so won't get as much heat as the sedan.
all sr20DET silvias are banned for p platers in NSW
s13 CA18DET is only turbo allowed
Logan Ward
why the hell is that so special?
>how do I go about getting financing? you don't
Carson Torres
>getting financing
no
Adrian Brooks
its the only one for sale for $4k in australia its not special, just theres 0 for sale in SA right now
should i wait until full on winter to buy a dirtbike? guessing more people will want to be selling at that time of year
Christian Taylor
Well i'm working a part time job, and only have a shitty astra. I want something to take off roading and something to tow my motorbike to track days. I don't have the funds to pay for a 12k ute outright.
Adrian Edwards
save up nigga, you will end up paying stupid money if you finance
Logan Wood
??? The RMS restricted vehicle list says otherwise
Hunter Gutierrez
i'll only be pulling about 17k this year. it's not really feasible for me to save up that much. Once I have a ute, I plan on driving it until it fails.
Michael Green
Not him but 200SX and Silvias aren't considered the same car. A 200SX can be legal but a Silvia might not be.
Noah Lewis
Oh yeah I see. How come S14 silvias are allowed but S14 200sxs are even though they're both SR20DETs?
Aiden Rivera
*how come silvias aren't allowed but 200SXs are.
Camden Barnes
Maybe the CA18's are, but if you're getting one them you're bloody mad.
Easton Kelly
Silvias make more power from memory.
Asher Murphy
So I should be able to uncork a 200sx to Silvia power levels pretty easily right? I can afford the insurance costs if that's what you're on about.
Aiden Bailey
>So I should be able to uncork a 200sx to Silvia power levels pretty easily right? I don't know the specifics but if you were in an accident and it was found out you'd be liable for everything.
Honestly buy something cheap as shit and save for something nice when you're on fulls.
Matthew Perez
Jap spec sr20det makes about 250hp and has a ball bearing turbo, aus spec sr20det has a normal turbo and is detuned to make about 200hp Making an aus spec into a jap spec requires the bb turbo and a tune I think
Adrian Gomez
That's about it, plus the fully sick JDM tyte lightning badges. That's like twenty horsepower right there.
