I've only ever played Hearthstone casually but recently decided to get into it.
Can someone explain what aggro and control decks are?
Also, any tips in general for someone starting out? I've only recently found any legendaries (Velen and the corrupted Nat are the only ones I have).

Aggro decks are fast and usually win before turn 10. Control deck play very few minions in the early and try to control the board until the late game when they drop big legendary cards and shit and the other guy has no cards in hand because he's an aggro shitter.

That's about all you need to know.

He's basically the Larry the Cable Guy of Hearthstone.

Aggro decks focus on flooding the board with low-cost minions and killing your opponent as fast as possible, often without him being able to do anything.

Control decks try to survive until the late game, so that they can win off of playing big minions and strong late-game combos.

As for tips, go on Youtube and watch Trump's basic teachings playlist.
