Bow Coatings don't show a number for status in the status menu though.
They apply status independently of the actual second attack type inherent to the bow, which was why I was wondering if they'd be affected by Status Attack Up at all.

Deviljho is a big silly monsters with numerous gimmes. He does not belong so far right, git gud. Golden Rajang is barely harder than regular, and either way Rajang has even more gimmes than Deviljho so let's sweep all those a good bit left.

Whats a good starter armor set for bowgunning at hr6? Either hbg or lbg, and it doesn't have to be some perfect endgame set.

I really want to get into gunning this time around, but I've put it off. I made the naja hbg in lowrank, did about 10-15 hunts then went back to melee. Both lbg and hbg I find fun, rapidfire a bit more. I don't relish the thought of making specific elemental guns, at least when I'm not even knowledgeable about them.

How fucking long have you been playing the games for Rathian/Rathalos to be easier than Lagombi, Maccao, and Tetsucabra?

Garuga, while still an asshole, is a fun fight once you get to know him though.
