To answer your question, if you're literally only ranking those guys up because you can, you'd be better off getting full 20s on a character you actually use, unless you really need more WB filler because you're not at 15 6*s already. I say go for Throot.
My plan was to wait until I could afford a mega rank up ticket, use all 300 bios + whatever else I have to rank up the gears, then T2 her with the event ticket. Now you've got me scared.

HE was holding Iron Man IIRC. Cap's "weird shield" is part of his 'relaunch' (the whole HydraCap stuff). It splits in two. It's actually a homage to his first, original shield. But yeah, no idea why Strange was included in the trailer. He's wearing his classic clothes so at least that's confirmed as either default or uniform.

Does Corvus actually get more dodge near the end of the fight? I can brute force my way through the first two phases, but once he gets to about 20% HP left on the third resurrection the fucker is dodging probably more than 90% of what I throw. Having no ignore dodge strikers is painful.

He teleports more often. So you'll find yourself winding up a big attack, or even triggering the team attack, and he'll teleport and the entire thing gets canceled, but you still have to wait for cooldown while the faggot tries to drop on your head.
He's a pain in the ass that last round... Ironically Ebony Maw is the opposite, his first round hes a little teleport bitch, but becomes a lot more aggressive as the fight winds on.
One of my teams for him is Elsa, Carnage, and SpOck. Carnage is the primary of course, but for that first round I stick with SpOck and run around while letting his Spiderbots handle it. I've seen the bastard teleport so much that those little guys have chased him from one side of the screen, to another, to another before they all got a hit in.
