I'm nervous about getting into my first party group as a tank. Will people be expecting to clear shit fast as fuck because they've been playing forever, or will they be lenient if I explain that I've literally only been playing for a few days? I've played mmos before but this is the first time I've ever decided to pick up a tanking role as my introduction to the game.

If its just leveling content it requires no brain. A notice gets posted that there is a new player in the group if it's your first time in the dungeon and as long as you are apologetic about your mistakes people will be friendly and help you out.
