Nitocris has slightly better stats and High Speed Divine Words but Alice has crit skills and way more useful NP effects (instadeath is always a crapshoot of massive proportions). I'd say pick the cuter one but they're both cute.
Edison is a gimmicky fucker with a unique skill that only benefits some servants.

I don't know why Alter doesn't have an np charge skill, but I don't know how they could fit it in now either.

Memelion's only utility is his overcharge skill. If you have a NP that benefits a lot from its overcharge effect you should keep him in the back of your party and use battle switch when it's time to use it. Cu Alter's damage boost, Euryale/Medb's anti-male bonus, Jack's anti-female and so on.

NR is shit. Nito-chan can instakill random enemies very often to compensate for her lack of damage. Her NP gain is pretty good too.
