I just tried and it works. Maybe it's bad for multiplayer (people uninformed and dumping 5 like crazy and fucking up), but it speeds things when you're solo farming.

Not only is it the strongest all purpose bow in the game it is also very easy to make and has 2 slots to boot.

OR you could bring a High Rank weapon with endgame damage that will keep everything not named Garuga under permanent poison.

MH4U Database and MHGen DB are pretty solid, senpai. They have a palico head for an icon. Don't download the chink knock-off, it's shit.

But Ping's is still way better, I only use the apps when I'm away from the pc.

Out of curiosity, I'm planning on focusing on SnS, Hammer, SA, and CB for Gen. I recall /mhg/ having pretty agreed upon weapon strengths (raw, elemental, status, phial, etc.) to focus weapon development on. Would a couple of hunter bros be willing to remind me of which areas I should focus on respectively with the four weapons I listed?

In earlier games all armor (Gunner & Blademaster) had a different G-Rank model. Isn't there something like that in this game?

Do Kiranico/Ping's have monster habitats?
Like starting areas, rotation areas, and resting areas.
Habitats are the only reason I even use the app.

Even people with endgame equipment and loads of viewers almost invariably suck nuts. Even people whose channels revolve around playing monster hunter.
They seem to just get by on playing with 4 people. Most don't seem like they could handle a hyper monster solo.

Name 1 good reason why the "Map" should still be an item and why the game shouldn't just give every player at all times a map

Is Giga barrel bomb even useful on a prowler? It seems to me that its 4 support gauge requirement is pretty high and it looks like it doesnt do too much more damage compared to 2 Mega barrel bombs

To think I have 21 Lenses in the box back in 4U and no use for them. It's all coming back to me now.

If I want para, I'd rather use a deathprize set which can be further inproved using skills

Or, you know, any bowgun that can fire para 2 because you can bring combines for 99 more.

OR you could use a cat weapon that has similar stats to your starter weapon with its measly 10 para points on hunts, I guess.

Same deal with sleep, SnS and lbg does it so much better that sleeping cat isn't worth considering.

With the plessy lbg you can even rapidfire sleep 2 and with the right setup could proc 2 sleep just from the 8 sleep 2 bullets you can bring with you, and can bring enough mats to set 4 LBB+s to blow monsters up.

Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should.

You should be able to buy a permanent map after you hunted on it 10 times and make you pay a lot for it.

They add to the idea of preparing for hunts and taking what you need for any given hunt, taking up valuable inventory space which forces you to only take what you need but also prepare your inventory before a hunt.

That said, I don't like them either. I do like the way Desert Day/Night handles them though, that's sort of neat at least.
