That guy in the factory turbo car who thinks it's good

>that guy in the factory turbo car who thinks it's good
>that guy in the fwd car

Did the owner of a Cobalt SS Turbo rape your waifu or something?

...

>that guy who thinks his NA V6 is a muscle car

The mx6 GT is for faggot losers

So yes he did rape your family.

but my factory twin turbo powered 3.5l awd car is good op..

my guess is that you're a butthurt busrider tho, so fuck you

Then obviously it dousnt apply to you

Maybe he was talking about GTI fags thinking their GOLF is superior.

I love my speed3 quite frankly

my factory 1.8t ff is good. good at hauling my ass around.

...

just kill me now lads

user your engine got mounted sideways what happened?

Since when is factory turbo bad? You have good supporting hardware and plenty of options for modifications if you want in most cases.

it means the company had so little faith in their stock NA they turbod it just so that it could BARELY reach "performance car" status.
it limits what you can do with the car
and if it's FWD you might as well give up

Oh, lol. So what about cars that never had NA versions to begin with? Or tarbodiesel?

Listen, I'm just being paid to make fun of

>factory worker

Kek you think you can laugh at anyone?

Damnnnnn Alphonse back at it with the forced memes again

Car or GTFO

...

show me your

What's wrong with fwd?

Sorry I'm not from Veeky Forums

It's slower in theory, but still faster than a miata

>tfw swapped LNF cavalier
>that priceless buttmad look on everyones face when a ratty cavalier beats them
Maximum sleeper status achieved

no skids allowed

Same

can you stop

>that guy in a RWD shitbox threw a junkyard turbo into who thinks it's good

>that guy with no corvette

My car is....
FWD Twin turbo

Pretty much in factory setup.

not true of many turbo cars (FWD or not)

Some companies over-engineer their blocks and you can push 500HP out of a two-liter stock bottom end e.z.

...

Weight transfer during acceleration works against FWD

Also has understeer problems, because one axle does both steering and acceleration work

Not a great performance platform but transverse mounting of the engine does increase drivetrain efficiency

no

I didn't even mention torque steer from the (typically) uneven driveaxles

>owns a 80hp diesel punto
lel

there is nothing wrong with torquey front wheel drive turbo cars

I own a modified turbo Saab and a stock MR2 turbo

fuck that's actually hilarious

That looks nice and by far the best looking gen, the older ones look like garbage IMO.

This isn't benchracer shit I'm talking about

torque steer, wheelhop, and extra understeer during spirited driving are real FWD problems

Have you ever driven a FWD turbo with 300 torks?

just stop replying to him man, he probably drove his dad's corvette once, but dailys a miata

not an argument

No, he rides the bus every day.

>doesn't give model or year or list of mods
K
Bye Corey

bitch for all I know, you take the bus

Not an argument

found the benchracer

MazdaSpeed3 is love

That doesn't even make sense. I just want you to tell me about your saab

Every review raves about the power, the handling, and the brakes.

Mine stops on a dime with factory equipment. When i need new rotors, i'm gonna go 2-piece to reduce some unsprung weight, and probably get some Hawk ceramics and SS lines.

More torks than your shitty hairstylist car.

1999 9-3
TD04, crossflow intercooler, Aero brakes, doubled rear sway bar, new stock front suspension, ARP head studs because I'm going to crank up the boost soon

Accept those problems are specific to your car and not a drive train

He literally just explained why it's specific to most FWD cars in

Corey please go.

Corey posts gibberish and thinks Initial D is real life, and has poor grammar, punctuation, and spelling. user and I are talking to you with clear, concise statements, using our basic knowledge of physics to explain widely known phenomena of FWD cars.

its a meme
>hurr fwd cant turn and rwd AlWAYS has better handling
>meanwhile they ignore that 95% of muscle cars cant turn

I don't think anyone here believes that. Chassis matters far more than drivetrain, but drivetrain is a matter of some importance.

Not really. They're on equal playing fields. You just haven't driven enough cars

FWD is inherently harder to balance in a chassis, often has unequal length halfshafts and control arms as mentioned previously, which leads to torque steer as well as less than ideal bump handling characteristics, and the forces at play while cornering tend to promote understeer. It's useful in 2wd rally classes where having weight over the drive wheels is extremely useful, and a reliance on the handbrake is expected, but that's about it.

Have an extremely poor diagram to emphasize the point about understeer.

This does not mean every FWD car has poor handling, or every RWD or AWD car handles well. I'm just talking about disadvantages specific to FWD.

I disagree, drive more. You have to go off more than numbers with cars

You're talking to somebody who's repeatedly won outlaw class kart races against faster machines and driven a wide variety of cars in poor conditions that exacerbate their handling flaws through being a sober cab driver.

All you have presented as a counterargument is "nuh uh you should drive more".

Damn I've been eyeing one of these like a motherfucker, but they're just out of my price range.

Still though, ultimate sleeper.

You just hate fwd. Jalopnik kiddie
