1. Register on a private server that hosts the same game client you have.

2. Copy their realmlist URL. This can usually be found on the main page of the website or on their registration page.

3. Look for a realmlist.wtf file in your WoW folder. This may either be in the root folder, or inside Wow/Data/enUS/

4. Open the realmlist.wtf file in a text editor such as Notepad and paste in the realmlist settings of the server. Make sure it starts with 'set realmlist' followed by the realmlist URL.

5. Play on atlantiss wwu

You will need a clean wow.exe and dll files if you downloaded your WoW client from XYZ server. Check the clients section above.

did dunemaul, dew guys, then to ungoro, did do the linken quest.. just to run back to marshalls, ~110k exp.

I was planning on flying to wintergrasp for the next 100k installment, but by the time I was done doing the easy ungoro quests I was going to the 3 pylons for 70k each and now Im 58.

Outland was always a big increase in speed, hopefully I just fly through there and then its repeat at 68 in northrend.

This is fucking cake, 10 hours to 58 so far and I went slow, and with white gear until the 40s.

Nice work. However, did you consider playing on Dalaran-WoW instead? I find it be a much more satisfying experience hitting 80 on a 1x rate server.

Spend a couple days on GD and lvl to 80. We will probably all end up on gummycraft if it doesnt epic fail upon launching.

GD is scripted very well. It's downfalls come from its terrible community and donors. There is a 10 man guild that is fairly decent. Working on algalon.

You can also play cata. They are progressing in 10m heroic. Everything else is literally dead.

Elysium is shit and going to be too dead to actually play, rest of the vanilla servers aren't as good (not to say kronos is great).

I'm going to post stuff from the Elysium PTR here. I feel like I have less chance to catch second hand autism here than in the kronos thread.

First post: For some reason, most skills without mana cost get added twice to your spellbook when you learn them from a trainer. It doesn't effect the functionality, but it does clog your spellbook with worthless shit.

Deletr your cache. This is a visual bug that also happened on kronos.

Next up: Druid class quests. First thing I noticed, the air fissures actually work. No more drowning while trying to find things underwater. Hooray.

Praise Elune! The sickly deer can be cleansed of their taint. Every druid quest works. Even the gossip text from the NPCs that gives you hints about where to find the aquatic pendants works.

Next up: In Dreams. Everything started out well, my disguise buff worked and I was able to turn in the prequest. The disguise went away when I shapeshifted, but the buff stayed and continued working.

Taelen nearly died, but eventually defeated the 4 scripted npcs that attacked him.

Taelen mounted up properly, engaged npcs properly, used his skills properly, and followed the right path toward the watchtower.

That's average social interaction with any player from non english speaking country

Test something more important such as stealth, combat state, cc diminishing returns

Problem: Taelen fucking disappeared. He flew through the air and I can't manually kill the enemy NPCs. Have to try to find him.

I have yet to get stuck in combat. I can try stealth radii on mobs, but anything about pvp combat would require multiple players online who speak english

Taelen is now stuck here. Abandoning the quest didn't do anything. He'll attack mobs I drag to him, but then he runs back to this spot. I guess now neither I, nor anybody else on the server can do this quest.

The Defias messenger spawned after I gave myself the quest and started patrolling. Looked good for a bit, but then he started clipping with the ground, only happened to catch him because of the nameplate. I was able to pull him out of the ground with faerie fire and then kill him properly on the surface.

The defias traitor himself escorts pretty well. He did aggro mobs on his, and mobs that I aggroed near him.

Now since we've seen the defias messenger clip with the ground, let's look at pathng in general. It's quite shit on kronos, so let's see how valkyrie stacks up.

Here you have a cave in the lowbie nelf zone. On kronos, it's a mess. Spiders floating in the air, stuck on the ceiling, mobs jerking back and forth when trying to adjust z-axis, etc.

How is it on Valkyrie? Pretty good. The spiders are sticking to the ground. There's no jerky animation. They follow me through the cave well when I aggro them.

The only pathing error I've seen thus far, aside from the defias messenger, is occasionaly there's a tiny bump in the height map, and a patrolling mob will step into the air briefly.

Let's try stealth. I'm on a level 60 night elf druid with no points in Feral Instinct.

OK, this seems a bit iffy. I can stealth right in front of this level 59 skeleton without aggroing him. Surely this is too generous a stealth radius, right? The only way I can get the mob to aggro is if I run straight through it.

So I know these trees in dire maul are meant to have a large aggro radius. This is how close I can get in stealth without aggroing, directly in front of his field of view. I'm not a stealth expert, but it seems too close to me.

Method: auto run against DM:N door, task manager to close the program, relog

Speaking of Dire Maul, I noticed right away that these pods aren't scripted. Instead it's a friendly green interactable unit that doesn't do anything except disappear once you use it.

DM West: Pylons go out when you kill the arcane elementals. Illyanna doesn't aggro from below like on nost. Unkilled trees properly aggro when you pull Tendris

You can backstab a mob currently aggroed on you by strafing back and forth, just like nost.

I know you're trolling, but the server doesn't allow horde and alliance at the same time. So I deleted ally test chars.

The Stones That Bind Us: After bringing the servants down low, they begin to absorb all damage. If near a stone, the stone activates and can be attacked. Killing the stone allows the mob to be killed, giving quest credit.

Been a very long time since I've done this quest, but I think that's how it should work.

Hero of the horde properly gives the fel salve to weaken the elite demons you must kill. However, the salve doesn't do anything. It just makes the visual and does not shrink the boss or lower his damage as intended. You can just brute force the kill and compete the quest though.

Theeleport rune up to his plateau works. He is summoned when the item is used. Casts his various abilities as expected. Summons Ilifar at ~66%. Then he knocked me off the platform and despawned, though his add did not despawn. According to old wowhead comments, blizzlike.

Pulled him again, he summoned his adds properly, he enraged at ~15% life, died, dropped quest item. All the RP dialogue is there

Quest chain appears to be completable unless some of the other steps I didn't test are bugged.

OK I charged several mobs into water from the surface of the water. The first time I did it, the game sent me on a rollercoaster ride out of the water, through a wall, and back underwater where the mob was when I first started the charge.

Unfortunately no screencap for that and I have no recording software on this computer.

Every charge after that worked better, however. The game has you charge down vertically to the mobs height, then horizontally to the mob.

I dont have a character past level 14 on kronos, so I'm going to give elysium a shot. The pathing on kronos is just fucking terrible. Hunter pet + mobs + cave was just a pitiful display on kronos.

Yes. 99% of the time charge is good.

If there is an obstacle between you and the mob you are charging (like this fence here) your character runs all the way around it and charges to where the mob was when you first pressed charge. The charge stun and the rage gain take place immediately when you press the charge button, not when you actually hit the mob. In the case of this pig, I didn't even hit the mob, it reset by the time my character ran all the way around this fence.

I have literally never played a warrior so you guys can decide if this is good or not.

Underwater mobs have 3d pathing. Hard to demonstrate in a screencap, but you can see this naga is positioned diagonally as it swims toward me. It doesn't just jerk up and down to adjust height.

Was just the first thing I thought of since I was there earlier. Here you can see me charging across a gap in Blackrock Spire to Urok Doomhowl and his adds, who are unscripted and spawned automatically when you enter the instance.

Another stealth test. I cannot aggro an Orgrimmar guard unless I run through it.

I can tell that the stealth is not just radius based, but also based on the way the mob is facing, now that I found a mob that actually can see me. I can move directly behind Saurfang, but this is as close as I can get in front of him.

Auction houses are still linked even after they brought the server down and restarted it with "fixes". I posted the cheese and potions from my alliance characters, which are now deleted, so the auction house only shows their character ID, not character name.

I'm not sure if a linked auction house is an intended feature

The goblin yells out in chat when he's ready to be escorted. Once you take the quest, he and his caravan begin the route. The 3 demon ambushes are scripted properly with dialogue. Once you reach the end of the route, the quest completes.

Well, the GMs are monitoring Veeky Forums it seems. One of them whispered me.

Second part of kodo caravan worked as expected. He moved out from his spot, yelled, began offering the quest, which I accepted. NPCs spawned along the route and the RP dialogue was there.

Also, impressively, the Vendor-Tron 1000 spawned only after the caravan reached its destination at the other end of the route. It's not just a static spawn like on other servers.

Ghost-o-plasm Round Up:

Nitpick on the way to do the quest: Some kodos are not properly patrolling, just standing at their spawn point.

The quest item works. Centaurs spawn as neutral and make their way to the object before becoming hostile. Drop rate was not 100%, but a several more centaur than were needed spawned. One centaur spawned and didn't want to move out of the wall. But I could manually pull him out after I killed the others.
