It was one of the first types of anomalies ever recorded. A Shitpost is an unstable radio field limited to a wide area on ground level, about 1-2 threads wide. Reacts to the presence of creatures or objects by sending out random radio signals "collected" over time in the area inside the radius causing the stalkers PDA to pick them up. The messages caused by this changes throughout the anomaly's lifetime, ranging from minor Freedom banter through serious Duty propaganda to completely instat memes
The Shitpost anomaly is very common and can be found almost anywhere in the Zone, both outside and in generals. To the naked eye, the anomaly appears as a rippling images or quotes fluctuation accompanied by dancing webms and sometimes crimson-colored (You)s on the ground. Throwing a bolt into a Shitpost causes it to send out its distinctive pasta, making it easily identifiable. It is also one of the anomalies that are harmless to pass through for a split moment after having been filtered, making filter lists very useful tools for navigating a Shitpost field. As players approach a Shitpost their vision becomes gradually but markedly green as they get closer to the implication itself.
Shitposts are easily identifiable, and easily avoidable but varying locations and odd spawn points in the threads can make them a nuisance in a discussion. Players have often died in the middle of a post, forgetting or not noticing the anomaly's presence with all the blogposts, then replying straight into it. Just like all anomalies, its best to scout the location and find a way around it.

From a mild hiccup along the road towards a feeling of insecurity, the Shitpost Anomaly lingers. It clamps onto you, baiting you. It gets increasingly difficult to try and find a way around it.
I've been one of the many who gave up. I succumbed to the Shitpost Anomaly. While diving into the void of what Shitposting is, you start to become an empty shell of a human. You disconnect from all morals and all that's left is to look up into the sky, crtl+c, crtl+v.
It's been years. I have never told this to anyone, so, rookie... Keep these words in mind. If you're mentally unprepared for this journey, don't go down the same road I did.

Nyaa is as suspicious as it sounds. There are new viruses called "catz" which stand for "Computer Anti-Tech Zebras". Zebras are code for Trojans (they look alike, hence the name, and cath sounds worse anyways).
BakaBT, as the name suggests, makes you realize you are an idiot the second you download something. Viruses fucking galore.
TokyoToshokan. Toshokan actually means killer in Japanese. By using this website, a virus called Tokyo (Tom's Old Komputer YUO OIP). (YUO and OIP are some serious technical shit.) These render your computer useless.
#news takes on a new form of downloading called XDCC. Basically, you can watch anime as you download it. However, this means that the virus is also activated as it is downloaded. Therefore, by the time you finish watching, the virus will have come to it's final form, and your computer compromised.
AnimeTake is also a giveaway. Just look at the name. You get anime from it, it takes your personal identity. That's already bad enough.
AnimeTosho is bad for similar reasons to TokyoToshokan.
AnimeSenshi. Senshi is Japanese for warrior. In other words, it installs a virus that enters your computer, seiges your firewall, and cuts down all the necessary files for your computer.
Mediafire is a place where some hackers will upload anime for other people to download. Don't believe these seemingly generous people. The files get in and sets all your media on fire.
In other words, you should NOT download anime no matter what you do.
