As for making our own language, I was working with another user on a similar thing using very few pixels, he did all the work through, I'll see if I can find the resources.

I'm trying to connect my ship to my space station using the connecters on the ZF serb. Everytime I connect, both the ship and station spazzes around like crazy.

I'm trying to make a cam that puts a rod in 4 discrete positions, but I can't figure out how to reset it without using some messy sequencing that screws with the timing.

I've tried with various docking blocks and just vanilla merge blocks and they either don't work, stick in space and become immovable rods, or clang violently during connection/disconnection.

At this point I've just put in MCM merge block boarding tubes for AESTHETIC value and I spacewalk across the little gap between ships. Maybe by 2017 we'll have some working docking clamps. Hopefully some year we'll even have a docking collar that can extend and retract.

Uses 4 rods/springs instead of one. Annoying but it works.

spengies has giant voxel planets that your computer cannot handle

empyrion has more performance friendly planets but the polar caps are off-limits due to stupid coding

avorion is fuckhuge and has content and is fun but isn't actually out yet

I know. I just googled skeletons in space and that's all I got. I was disappointed with the lack of space pirate skeletons roaming the 7 solar systems in search for planets that have special bones that they consider treasure

Go with Spengies. Don't listen to all those butthurt shitters in here, it can be tons of fun in singleplayer, especially with mods. And stay away from Pistons and Rotors if you ever find a good multiplayer server. or he will visit you
