Unfortunately when the P1 came along Big Mac decided to quickly and drastically put its face on everything else including the mp4-c which i thought was a good-looking car pre-facelift.

Can confirm. I wish I could remember the video.
The hood is for looks, two people required to open it and then release it from the hinges otherwise it will snap because it is so thin.
