Timeline battles stopped being a thing the moment TP was released and it became stupidly evident there could only be 3 timelines. Hell the timeline was still stupidly obvious when before and after WW came out when it was still just 2 timelines, the only exception is LoZ/AoL could really fit fucking anywhere because there isn't much story to go on them at all.

Realistically, no. But I'd be more than fine with one. Just have shaft do a few animated cutscenes in places, have fucking uhhh djimps or whoever does the ultimate ninja storm games do the cel-shading, make it an AoL remake from top to bottom.

Zelda games are RPG, they just aren't awful turn based crap.
TP ending has link leaving ordon and WW link staying with tetra is doubtful because the spirit tracks link is implied to be his grandson and he has no relation to the royalty in that game.

TP has Ilia waiting for Link to return home from his heroic journey. You remember Ilia? She's that girl he was questing for through the entire game. You might recognize her from the slow music in her cut-scenes in which she and Link exchanged googly eyes.
If you read the game dialog, she is the one that Link is looking for when he leaves home. Link finds the children in the first town he visits, and Link keeps looking for Ilia. She's the amnesiac that Link tracks down by scent in Castle Town. She's the girl that Link escorts to the village so the shaman can examine the fish boy. The girl that Link keeps trying to help so she can remember him. We all love Midna, but your shipper vision is out of control.

She's the motivator for the entire game.
No she isn't, from the second you meet the imp you're her bitch and you do what she wants you to do. Midna is the main character and the game follows her story, not links.
No, the motivator is the Fused Shadows and Twilight Mirror. She just happens to be part of that as well. Hell Link gives a fuck more about Colin than he does Ilia and only because Colin gets kidnapped. When he's told Ilia has amnesia he's like well that sucks, anyways, lets get going and then he immediately leaves.
TP Link doesn't really give a fuck about anybody honestly, he's just along for the ride. It's not like OoT Link and Saria where she is the only person he bothers trying to explain himself to, the only person he runs away crying from, and a very clear crush that Saria has on OoT Link to the point its almost pretty much stated.
Also if you wanna go down that route, when Lanayru is talking of the Interlopers and Fused Shadows, its only ever implied that TP Link and Ilia are friends, friends who would willingly betray each other over the Triforce if they let things get out of hand, especially if Link sticks around the Fused Shadows and uses them.

Link didn't personally escort Ilia in particular, she just tagged along because she was worried about the Zora prince. Link only goes out of her way to restore her memory because he needs to in order to restore power to the Dominion Rod so he can get the 4th mirror shard - prior to that Link does absolutely nothing that shows he cares more about Ilia than any other character in the game, and you're saying that MY shipper vision is out of control

You know what mechanic they should add to the Zelda games? Sleep deprivation. Link never sleeps in any other game during his adventures. When he does, it's just a thing to do to pass the time. Like the temperature gauge, there should be a sleep gauge to show how tired link is. There's no way any person could stay awake 24/7 and still climb mountains and battle enemies without getting tired.
