Can I get some help? I've had this game before and I'm reinstalling it now from an online download. But my computer (I'm using Daemon Tools) won't mount the first disk (Which I named DISK1.mdf). It just says "Unable to access image file." Does anyone knew how to fix this issue?

So is there some kind of work-around right now? Google just brings me lots of questions about the HF applocal and it not working for 10, but I've just not bothered with it and have just been dealing with mangled text but the game running fine until only today.

That's a daemon tools issue. Check the forums for the program or use a different image mounter.

I thought that was a thing since I downloaded AA2 with a bunch of other eroge and some of them were .mdf files. However School Days used .iso files and it ran them fine.

Yeah, /aa2g/ had a good run but the only choice it has is migrating somewhere else. I prefer a separate general with cm3d2 at least for a while. If it doesn't work out then at least there's no /aa2g/ to keep up. Basically pull the plug and give it a second chance. I just want a place where I can post girls, see girls and look out for mods when they come. I honestly don't care who else is there.
