In SF4, she was a much more technical character in order to excel with, which is why we saw so little of her. I agree she was definitely too much effort for little reward, but seeing players excel and do well with her was really fun to watch.

In SFV, she's honestly the opposite of the dash and mash meme. I think her damage is fine for the most part, but she's much more neutral based than the rest of the cast, especially with the majority of her normals being negative. She requires a good foundation to do well with her desu.

From what I understand, Sako said she is a heavy comeback character because she requires all her meter to actually do anything worthwhile, and he doesn't like that a lot.

Oh I guess you did not know. Capcom did a really scummy thing by turning everyones ssf4ae into Ultra Street Fighter 4 i the library. So it shows Ultra despite you never buying the upgrade and you not being able to play with ultra people.
It also fucked with the free weekend because no one that owned ssf4ae could make use of the free ultra weekend.
That all on top of the game suddenly running worse and the switch to steamworks fucking the netplay hard for almost a year with everyone ddossing eachother.

something to make v-reversalling projectiles not leave you at -10000 while in the opponents face
ex kunai reload
more normals that can hit opponents after several degrees of juggle degradation than just f.hk and b.mp
crush counter off cr.hp
give her a proper hitbox during f.mk, at the moment half the low jabs in the game hit her out of it despite appearing to miss her hitbox entirely
