a classic is typically described as something thirty or older, but no your 31 year old honda civic is not a classic unless it has something special about it.

What's not classic about a 31 year old civic? Sounds awfully jingoistic of you.

Potato picture, but lady cruise = mission success.

it's an econobox. I don't consider a dodge aspen or austin princess to be a classic either.

then again, it's all a matter of perspective.

did you eat her butt?

Kek.

>bodycolor bumpers
I don't know why, but this is always a boner killer for me.

u srs? I think it looked epic on that chevelle tbqh
>also you didn't answer the question
>also I am severely aroused by C20/30 CCLB dualy square bodies

I don't eat butt on the first date.

Still buying these damn wheels though. Hnngh.

topkek.

and did you decide on whether or not you'll keep the big block?

I think I've settled on the idea that I'll only keep the bigblock if I can't find a buyer for it.

nice.

Getting car ready for weekend/grocery duties. It will be the first time driving on the road in 6 years.

Cleaned the bottom to try to find a leak
New oil and filter
Topped up tranny fluid. Although it may need a new tranny depending on where the leak is coming from.
New battery to replace dead one

To do list:
New tires as they are dry rotted and cracked
Transmission dipstick, no idea where it went
Stock 4bbl air filter to be Cali smog legal.
Drive it less than 1 mile round trip for some fresh gas. Although I read I should probably kill the old gas before I attempt to smog it.

Also, it was parked under a tree which gave it some nice shade. However, the tree sheds a ton of leaves and a bunch of them are now trapped under the windshield. Is it easy to unbolt that part, or do I need to remove the windshield to get it off?

>page 9 bump

Frame is looking pretty hilarious after hittin' that sweet jump last week, should have to body mounts shimmed up and the panels re-aligned by the end of the week.

Noice man. Gotta love the classics and women. Like iron and magnets.

>Mother was jokingly offended I didn't let her drive it.
>"You never asked"
>"You'd let me?"
>"Ever drive an automatic?"
>"No."
>"Well you're about to."
>...
>"No there's no clutch, just press the brake. Etc."
>...
>"No stop trying to shift"
>"No, you don't need to use your left foot"
>"No it's not going to stall"

To be fair, It took me a few minutes to get used to as well.

What do you guys think of my genuine Bedford Rascal? it was a revolutionary idea!

vans are neat

Cute!

Is that a Rousch?

I'm in the Buick!

Today is probably the second greatest day of my life because I saw a Plymouth Roadrunner in the flesh, and I live in New Zealand.

Actually it was a superbird

they're pretty cool. road runner or superbird though?

Didn't see the front, but I did see the back in my rearview with the wing and the Roadrunner tail lights

if it had the wing and the lights, it's probably a superbird or clone

Should I do it ccg?

seems a little high tbqh but it could be a cool project. love that column shift but I doubt it is that strong. that and the 2v intake and heads kind of blow but if you have the cash, it could make a killer hot rod.

Got the front seat back in the Lincoln after work today. Just need a Neutral safety switch and a windshield, then I can get it inspected and on the road

I was thinking of making it my dd and modding it along the way. Might be able to talk him down

sounds good to me. I am sure if you show genuine passion and interest the thing will be yours.

nice sink drain filters. I thought this was a race car thread

race car you say?

Sup everyone? Thought I would post a pic of my wip 67 notchback

Saw this today

A Classic Classic

Nice. What are you planning for paint?

I love BelAir ass shots.

dayuuummmmm, good to see someone else living the mopar or no car lifestyle

>>bodycolor bumpers
>I don't know why, but this is always a boner killer for me.

IMO it depends on the car and color. Mopars seem to pull it off better in my opinion. May also be because although rare, it was actually a factory option on Mopars, so I'm more used to seeing in on them.

Looks like shit on that Chevy though.

The hood pins kill the boner

Bedford confirmed for weebs

>mopar or no car
everytime i see this i just want to shitpost hillman imps forever

That thing looks very strange

...

it's been chopped
suposed to look like this

Some beautiful cars in this thread, mad jelly

>that fucking door handle
user...

...

user keep hold of that car. I feel your california 305 pain but it will get better. I have had my fair share of g-bodies to know.

It's a work in progress dude

It's actually a newly built 350 pushing out 420 to the crank with a turbohydro.

I thought you had the 305? Guess I'm trippin

>It's a work in progress dude
I'm only teasing user

I have a 305 in my firebird which probably has a blown head now. I turned it on for 5 minutes to move across the street so the sweeper wouldn't tow me and instantly smelled nasty shit in my exhaust. I parked it shut it off and looked under the hood to see coolant seeping out from under the left valve cover near the intake manifold and the manifold itself. I just closed the hood and walked away. Haven't looked at it since, that was like a week ago.

bumpin

So rock auto does not have pitman arm and other asortments that i need. What other website that is like rock auto cheap and simple.
If ur wondering its a 76 ford maverick

eBay
Amazon
Junkyard

Any car specific restoration sites.

Hubba hubba!

>The no gf to pose next to project car

:(

has anyone ordered parts from MACs auto parts? I want to get a few items from them (carb rebuild kit, door lock/ignition barrel set and a new heater core) but I don't know if they are a reputable site. anyone have any experience?

>like that's an improvement
kek just playing.

>muh dick

Well shit m8 that sucks. what year is the tree fitty?

...

L ast

From back when it was driven. Now lives in my garage with the engine half pulled to bits.
White ute is my dad's.

never heard of Macs before, maybe try searching them up on the Better Business Bureau

Seems like a decent online retailer

Idec about paint tbhfam, probably strip the paint and get maaco to spray it hot rod black. I got a 5.9 magnum from a dakota and a 727 I'm putting in it, and a 8.75 rear end with 3.9:1 diff. Should be done before summer?

the badge being crooked is triggering my autism so hard.

Noice

My coworkers Continental is nearing completion. Some more tweaking and polishing to be done tonight, then tomorrow after work it leaves for Carlisle.

>dem ray-yums
neat

>also fuck that one user who didn't think old crew cab duallies are cool

I said that the new rims would be better that the old ones.

Funny part is he'll be out at Carlisle for the whole weekend, while I'm going to the Greenwich Concours on Saturday and have my Land Rover at a British car show here in NJ on Sunday.

It all cars all of the time here in New Jersey.

>shaved
Did he keep the trunk lock cylinder in at least?
The PO of mine fucking removed it and seamlessy covered it, so you can't open the trunk unless it's running, cause it's vacuum operated.
And I thought for the longest time, 68s just didn't have trunk locks on them

>31 year old civic
I dunno m8, as much of a classic as an old Falcon or other shitbox

Are those factory front disks? Neat.

Always had a fetish for bagged Lincolns. 62-64 is best continental

Yes those should be factory

Dank.

Bagged is too low though. Give me my stock height and I'm happy

The thing is, a Lincoln continental looks good no matter what. Literally impossible to fuck one up. Also, yours makes me kinda wet tbqhwyfam

Also, is it the picture or is it slightly lowered in the front? I love it

Yes they are very nice. Mine's a work in progress right now. I'm keeping it as stock as I can

Naw it isn't lowered

MAC's is pretty good. They are basically the Classic Industries of the East Coast. MAC Antique Auto Parts is also the same as Eckler's.

I would highly recommend them for parts.

I like it except for the wheels, but it's his car, not mine. Thumbs up.

He's got remote poppers for everything, including the trunk. And a hidden wired in popper button, hidden on the car in case the battery in the remote goes dead.

Yes it's factory front discs in the front, and not factory discs in the rear. Original 460 engine and C6 trans in case anybody was wondering.

Went to a small local car show today, gonna dump some pics.

...

...

...

...

...

And the front end is back together.

That shit was years ahead of it's time. Boxy as shit car in the 60's when boxy cars only came into style in the 80s.

>boomers

>nope it's a 350 with some mods lol

Dam it feels good to drive something that is at least a little different than the standard acura/civic/altima/mustang/charger

>a boomer comes up and asks about my chevy
>"whats you got in'der, a 455?"
>mfw

>Have a 1970 Volvo

>Boomers telling me to put a tree fiddy in it and dual Weber's

God damn you people! Leave my fucking car alone!
