EU FMs are notoriously bad, so that doesn't really say anything.

Not completely true. FM's from the static and a few others just do way too much damage for me to be able to keep up with.

Question about DPS: if I occasionally pull aggro away from the tank, does that just mean my DPS was higher for a long enough period? I see some skills can be specced to not generate threat so do some attacks just have intrinsic higher threat values?

Especially wondering the last point since FM is supposed to have high DPS but plenty of times a low-geared melee can hold aggro for the whole fight even with really well-geared FMs. I really started too late and must have missed a lot of early mechanics discussions.

Generally speaking it's consistent DPS over high DPS, and threat generation. BM and KFM, for instance, have skills that generate threat better than other classes, and if they deal damage consistently they can combine those together to steal aggro away from people with much higher AP than them.

It's my original appearance though and I'd rather have that

Most everyone from Jiwan can hold their own in a dungeon.

kfms, bms, and i think destroyers have skills that increase their threat stat by 150%, so while they have that up, they will almost always hold aggro
