#1145 - Potentially The Final Animal Crossing General Thread (Until Something New Comes Out) Edition.

But over the last couple of days, you've proven to yourselves that you can't sustain this anymore. You want to wait for new DLC, you want to wait for a mobile game or an NX game... But you're failing. At this point, creating threads and having them disappear under the weight of Veeky Forums is arguably more effort than the few dozen posts the threads wind up containing are worth.
You appear to have three choices: • Continue struggling with threads dying before even 100 posts make it in and then remaking them every 4-14 hours • Somehow step up your content submission rate • Agree as a majority to bow out until a "boom" in the series itself strikes again, and then attempt to pick up /acg/ again
Ultimately it's up to you, the remaining /acg/.
You can rage at the desecration of the usual OP, you can rage at a nameless poster "telling you what to do," you can rage at the threads dying, and you can rage at this thread and claim it doesn't even count towards the # total... But just don't rage at each other.
There are plenty of ways and places to keep in contact with each other you know, if you'll really miss each other that much.
Whatever you decide, you have my word as Anonymous that I'll remember #1146 is where the next General should pick up, whether it's a few hours from now or a few months from now.

There's plenty more, but as you can see, we live in an age where communication is very possible. Just need to work as a group... Personally a Discord is, as far as the modern day goes, probably the most realistic thing.
... However, doing that is how you really kill the thread. Once the thread we hypothetically post the Invite Link to any other thing outside Veeky Forums dies, that's it, anyone who missed seeing it gets left out. Unless you make another thread to spam the invite in, which just further extends /acg/'s dwindling life for now.
