Car you never knew existed and are amazing

car you never knew existed and are amazing

I will start with the Subaru Alcyone SVX, how many know of this car?(another car for me is the Pontiac Fiero)

Subaru made this and back in the early 90s?

Ive driven many of them. would drive again.

Should I buy svx as first car despite wanting a manual car very badly ?

get a manual, pick up an SVX as a secondary for fun project.

you don't want to daily those things anyway.

Why not daily them?
They are greatly reliable. Especially if you put a trans cooler in.

as subraru transmission will bolt to the eg33

>they are reliable
>as long as you modify them first
Kek

>an impreza manual transmission*

hurr durr i fucked it up

One simple thing. How stupid/lazy are you?

Yeah but if I bought svx probably a year until manual swap

Maybe just buy some random FWD car....
ughhhhhhbbbbbrrrrtt5ttbbbrrrapapapapapbbbbbtsutsutsutsutsursutsu

Stupid enough to not buy a slow 90s shitbox with hard to find replacement parts that comes with a rice tax due to subaru owners thinking they own lambos

this they were far superior to the supras and skylines of their day yet they never sold due to poor marketing

You have zero clue as to what you speak of.
Just stop. Its sad.

>transmission cooler
>overpriced/rice taxed

you are literally fucking dumb, you can make your own trans cooler without even using subaru oem parts

fucking summer busriders

No...

>230 horsepower and 224 pound-feet of torque
>143mph top speed
>slow
Okee dokee

its not fair i have to go with shitty FWD like pic related

my father was working for a subaru dealership when these were new and bought one home once. Think they were like $90,000 (NZ) at the time. Now you can find them for $1500

>how many know of this car?

Anyone old enough to use this site, user.

Looks like a nightmare to find parts for. No thanks.

Samefag

Discovered those while browsing coupes. Have no idea what kind of car it is though.

Subaru SVX, it was their attempt at a Grand Touring coupe with AWD, had transmission issues that apparently were fixed by using a trans cooler

>as reliable as a Mitsu 3000GT VR-4
>not as fast

wew lad

...

...

Simply not true

Yes I know of them. Pic related is mine

an ek civic is a great starter platform. hondas can be made as fast or handle as good as your wallet will allow.

That retro-futurism has a certain charm.

tfw no service panel and sealed hood

I was torn between an svx or 3000gt a while back
>went with the 3000gt
Never regretted it.

subarus are legos man, you can slap a forester transmission in that car.
