Looks fine to me, and if you've got the dosh and can afford repairs etc on a 25 year old car?

>Buying a car from Minnesota

CLfag here, willing to do your homework for you.
Give me a criteria, price, and a link to your closest craigslist (I'm not a geography major, I would probably end up giving you cars from Dallas, Georgia if you asked for just "Dallas")
Give me 15-20 minutes to look around, and I'll do my best to give you a selection.
I am not good with SUVs or trucks, so I may need details.

fucking hell why ruin a grand national

I checked that car out in person...it needs the timing belt/water pump changed out and its rusty, faded front bumper paint. He wanted $3500 for it but my cousin and i gave him shit for his asking price.....now i see he dropped the asking price.

Find me the exact car with the best cost:reliability ratio. Like find me a super cheap shitbox that's the least likely to need anything other than basic maintenance for the next 100k miles.

Illinois btw

aaaand i don't want it
thanks fellow snowbro

I need a link to your craiglist man, unless you want me to pick a random city in Illonois and use that.

I'm looking for a naked motorcycle under $2800 to use as a first bike. Preferably 500cc or under (suzuki gs500, suzuki bandit gsf400, honda cb500, etc) but some 650cc or under if they have the right kind of beginner powerband (suzuki sv650, yamaha yx600 radian, suzuki bandit gsf600)
I want 1980 or newer and less than 35k miles.

charlotte craigslist along with a large surrounding area (I usually check the surrounding area box, then show more and check all those options as well)

Thanks in advance, CLFag. Anything I left out?

Ive got a little money burning a hole in my pocket, around 10 grand, and i want a car that i can pick up grills with. Sports car or whatever.

Any craigslist in ct or mass

>I need a link to your craiglist man, unless you want me to pick a random city in Illonois and use that.
chicago.craigslist.org/

You probably know what you're looking for better than I do, and your CL is limited in moto options that aren't Harleys (which I doubt you want)

Without further ado

columbia.craigslist.org/cto/5618831384.html
Honda CBR 250R, 1,999 dollars, but I dunno, looks like a basic robbing scam to me, no info on it, etc. Approach carefully.

charlotte.craigslist.org/cto/5556826192.html
Suzuki TL1000s, guy wants a trade but you might be able to talk him into a cash deal. Bit out of reach tho.

chicago.craigslist.org/wcl/cto/5538169349.html
Ford Taurus, V6, 137,000 miles.
Pretty basic little car, as long as the previous owner didn't trash it you should be good for another 75-90k on basic maint.

chicago.craigslist.org/sox/cto/5567016009.html
Neon with shit paint and broken "freezing conditioner" (wut)
I think that means AC, but you're dealing with the Hodor of car sales here, be careful because god knows what else is wrong with it that Hodor couldn't comprehend.

chicago.craigslist.org/nwc/cto/5579650852.html
Ford escort, white trash not included, needs a new clutch soon, but these things are about as reliable as my mom's cooking.

chicago.craigslist.org/nwc/cto/5581564477.html
Tiburon, 160k miles on it, needs exhaust work and a window motor, but it's reliable enough.

chicago.craigslist.org/nwi/cto/5582404426.html
I've always had a weakness for older SER spec-v's. This one is an uglier example and with an engine knock it's not going to fit your criteria.
but who knows, you might fall in love with it like I did mine. Definitely worth looking into if you want to go fast and be reliable.

do i need to say anything else?

chicago.craigslist.org/sox/cto/5555142151.html
more to make a point than anything - Older mustangs have such a variety of aftermarket accessories there's likely to never be a too-expensive part that you need to replace, and less likely to spend hours looking for parts that are no longer made. Not in your exact criteria but it's cheap, fast, and while not "reliable" parts -are- reliably cheap.

chicago.craigslist.org/chc/cto/5560587077.html
Bonestock CRX, hopefully unabused, 150k miles.(con)

most you'll probably find wrong with it is exterior/interior bits falling apart.
(CRX section ends)

chicago.craigslist.org/chc/cto/5561001979.html
Preludes are the answer if you didn't like anything else. You can find them cheaper, lower mileage, and less mods than almost any other commuter-tier honda, just make sure it was taken care of before you jump on it.

chicago.craigslist.org/nwi/cto/5565448447.html
1982 Corolla wagon, manual tranny, bea-utiful condition.

CTman, you're up next.

1500 ameribucks [max, less is better] for a first time shitbox that'll also probably be beat over the remaining summer months not just as a DD but also on infrequent 500mi+ road trips and two to three hour cruises, so a gigantic gas tank [or the ability to bolt one in] or great fuel economy is a huge plus

1,750 dollaryoos for a Saab 900S from 1989 with a hair over 100k miles on it.

240SX, very clean except the missing front clip, 8,500 bucks. No mileage or anything, probably a swap.

8,500, 59k miles, needs new ragtop soon.

albany.craigslist.org/cto/5621351009.html
Protege, fully built, list of goodies on it makes my butthole pucker a little.
Needs - Brakes, and a re-tune.
Only 7,000 dollars, so the extra 3 could easily cover that.
I'd buy it.

hudsonvalley.craigslist.org/cto/5621373669.html
WRX, 2002 model, 130k+ miles, only 4,200.
Looks to be in good condition, probably has a few gremlins lurking in the engine.

southcoast.craigslist.org/cto/5621164146.html
As an integrafag, a clean SH prelude makes me salty.
5,900 dollars for it, looks from the ad that he swapped in a type SH tranny/engine from Japan.

longisland.craigslist.org/cto/5621218881.html
Bit more in line with what I'd expect a decent mileage WRX to sell for, wagon for 7k, 140k on it. Seems to check out, but lack of info worries me.

boston.craigslist.org/gbs/cto/5621069682.html
9,500, cleanest WRX for the price. Can't complain.

I'm going to go eat and shower really fast, I didn't forget about you guys, but it might be a little bit before I can.
Also, very excited to have someone with a 75k max price.

ur copy and paste is gettin a little silly - the wrx is the 240 again, and the wrx wagon is the 350z

you do you bro, I'm just funna chill here an' get slowly smashed off some cheap ass wine barely above "cooking"

this is absolute nonsense, the trans in these start fucking up before 175 usually

I honestly see NO problem whatsoever with putting an old bentley body on a different frame with better suspension and a reliable engine which has easy to source parts.

I don't mean the price, I mean what they did to a Bentley Type-R.

But that's not actually that bad. It seems to be clean inside and out, good tire(s), 4x4, brush guard. That'd easily go for $7500 here.

I'm guessing colon = clone in this case senpai

That post has been posted by the dealership... numerous times.

Looking for a decently reliable, relatively fun DD. Either a coupe or a sedan. I like Hondas, but I'm not super brand loyal. Manual strongly preferred. Budget is about 5-6K. iowacity.craigslist.org/search/cta

Im looking for something fun and cheap to use for college. Doesnt matter if its fwd rwd whatever but manual, fun, and cheap (i can wrench if that matters at all) max budget 2500

go for it and molest it, it's beggin you. Do it nao

That's just what we call them, user.

Oh. Sorry.

That near to Detroit $2500 can get you practically anything you should be more specific.

ok im more interested in lightweight tossable cars. If it can be easily modified and made to go quicker or turn better im all for it. Storage space isn't really an issue. No trucks or suvs jeeps etc. I just want something that isn't soulless to drive to school everyday and can rip around some twisty roads on a nice night. Does that help at all?

American, European or Japanese?

Jap probably but i wouldnt mind a euro. No american cars never really been a fan

Opinions, Veeky Forums? I'm willing to bargain and I think the price is too high by at least $500 if I'm going off of edmunds.

edmunds.com/ford/crown-victoria/2002/tmv-appraise.html?sub=sedan&style=100002331&ps=used

I still have to check the tires and all that jazz too when I go to test drive. What do you think is a fair basment price to start bargaining? An even 1000?

It's in fair condition runs and is automatic. Don't really mind tho I'm just looking for a good cheap gas saver DD.

...

Love these civics grew up around them always adored them! It's in fair condition, and is an automatic. Don't really mind tho trying to just get a reliable fuel efficient daily.

Representing from North town, fellow br/o/ther.

Something manual, with decent handling. Doesn't have to be fast, but fun around corners is a big plus. Don't care about RWD/FWD. Preferably hatchback.
Also want something with a forgiving clutch, nothing that will make me stall if I can't let it out quick enough.

$2500 or less.

sandiego.craigslist.org/

I saw a nice EP3 SI for $2500, but he says text only and no number. Two really sketchy things.

>dallas.craigslist.org/dal/cto/5616031070.html
This really bothers me because this was clearly some rednecks harebrained idea that didn't work out so they're selling someone else their problem and ruined a car in the process
