My car's engine broke down and I don't have money to fix it. I'm feeling so depressed and sad, I can't think of anything else. My life isn't great to begin with, but losing my vehicle hit me right in the feels. Driving was the only joy in my life but now only suffering is left.
I don't know what to do
Nicholas Cruz
What exactly happened?
Time to steal a bicycle, fatty mcfatfuck
Lucas Wilson
learn to fix it yourself? save 90% over having a mechanic do it?
Gabriel Hall
Inb4 needs points changed and plug wires.
Liam Perry
time to die
Angel Richardson
What sort of problems is it having? Describe it, maybe someone here can help
Cooper Rivera
what car is it?
Anthony Lopez
>What exactly happened? Car got old. Since yesterday I have reduced power on uphill and engine runs out-of-balance in low RPM. Car still runs, but I don't want to move it anymore so things don't get worse. Source of the problem could be several things.
But actually the whole car is in bad condition already. The whole suspension, engine and clutch need to be revised. I have no money.
>Time to steal a bicycle, fatty mcfatfuck I don't steal, also I'm not fat
I have no money for spare parts
Aaron Thompson
Don't be a bitch, sell it to someone on Craigslist and buy a Civic or Corolla in the mean time. A manual Civic is a gud car
Nicholas Ramirez
So its just worn out, low compression and the works?
Camden Nelson
I'll consider it but it could be so many things that are broken
yes
William Wilson
rest in peace
next time i go out for a drive i won't think of you, because i wont remember ;_;
if it makes you feel better, im sure it was a garbage car, anyway
Owen Murphy
why don't you get a job????
Carson Cook
FF car
i did here But I have no money for spare parts, I'm actually unemployed and looking for a job but the breakdown of my car makes finding a job so much harder in my rural area now. It's ogre.
> sell it It's not worth much, I couldn't buy another car
>So its just worn out, low compression and the works? The power loss and unbalance occurred suddenly yesterday. Before that it was just running a bit noisy and leaked a bit oil through the seals.

Find heroin addicts they always have cheap shit to sell
My buddy just picked up a mk3 gti vr6 swapped for 1200 and all it needed was a clutch
Juan King
>Find heroin addicts they always have cheap shit to sell That's a nice idea, but I can't even afford a bicycle atm
Nolan Wilson
you can afford some vodka, though
Adrian Rodriguez
I don't drink.
I'll go to sleep now, thanks Veeky Forums

>out of balance It's missing, or it has low compression? Other than rubber and fluids, things don't just get "old" and fail, they fail due to neglect.
Anthony Jenkins
how do you fix low compression? I have never had that happen to me before
Ian Long
Check with this car owner here
Liam Long
Have you considered an hero?
Robert Clark
head gasket?
worn pistons?
Jaxson Lewis
Misfire. Distributor/cap/rotor, plug wires, spark plugs. Could be a $5 part, or a $free part at a junkyard to fix. One cylinder isn't firing. A headgasket won't generally ever cause a noticeable "Imbalance" in operation. Neither will low compression unless it's severe, but that generally comes with the noise and violence associated with a disintegrating piston.
You've decided the car isn't worth fixing before even diagnosing the problem. Sounds like you just want to be rid of the car and are looking for some kind of justification.
William Sanchez
Piston rings, head gasket, valves, valve seats, seals, bad spark plug seal etc
Low compression is hardly a cheap thing to fix, unless you're lucky
Adrian Morris
Buy a moped in the meanwhile
Benjamin Harris
Usually rings, or bore wear. Nothing you can just put a couple of bucks into. You'd have to rebuild at least the cylinders and re-ring the pistons.
Nathan Green
Sounds like wires or distributor cap. Those are cheap as shit. If not, try to trade the car for a motorcycle.

If you can't afford to fix your car, you can't afford to own it.
Dominic Rodriguez
Might as well ask this here. I also have an engine issue with my car.
>2012 Ford Focus >tried to start car yesterday and today >engine sounds like it will start but doesn't >Message on dashboard appears >"Engine Malfunction - Service Now" >Car has over 60,000 miles, so no longer covered by powertrain warranty
How fucked am I? How much do you think this will cost me?
Ayden Adams
Your fucked. All of the 2012 to 13 models had massive lemons because of the auto transmission failing. Congratulations on your poor financial decisions retard

I blew my Miata engine up in April. I'm sad too. Still waiting to find a good used one, I need the BP4W.
