In other games support means "super strong early, falls off later" or "specialized but can wreck shit in certain skenarios". These are pretty much the only "supporting" can be satisfying(or at least much more satisfying than LoL's way). In those games the only reason those types of supports work is because they usually have to work with little resources, or the game doesn't even use resources the same way league does(or at all).
