Are there any penalties for dodging during draft?

For unranked, no. For ranked, I think you lose a fuckton of points after you do it a couple of times. Like, 300-400 point losses per dodge. I don't know for sure, though, since I've never dodged myself.

So make sure to play at least placements in TL

You die you lose your stacks which makes it a gamble.
The spiders do low damage but often making gathering power as a % modifier useless, the same goes for zombie wall but using it as damage is not it's main focus so this is minor.
Leaving only your toads as the main benefactor but again without toads of hugeness and landing them at a good distance the damage increase again isn't large.
Gargantuan has a good synergy with gathering power.
Spirit leaves you too open to dying and losing your stacks as it makes you stationary, making it's use increase on the gamble factor of gathering power.
If you don't take spider cluster then leaping spiders becomes alot less effective and the other talents in that tier are lack luster in my eyes.

I like playing support the most if i'm playing as a party Rehgar is my fave I used to really like Uther too but since they reworked his talents it gimped the wave of light spec I played the most so I don't really use him anymore.
For duo and solo I usually like to play Xul if he doesn't get banned

Saving up now, last buy was Morales. Choices are now sylvanis, kael, and anub. All are fun, but which would be better to practice with? Currently only ever play QM so I can practice for league.

kael is instabanned most of the time so don't even bother

I knew he was a usual target for bans but I always thought it was an exaggeration on how often. I run xul and Johanna so both play styles were pretty similar. I think anub would have a bigger impact since people seemed to go full retard with assassin choices.

I went from Gold 1 with 40 points towards the end straight to Gold 2 at abour 50% points, so I stopped playing altogether
