seems incredibly retarded, especially when you can get more power and torque from a F series Honda engine
Yeah but can it go hours on end at full RPM's
I know this is a troll thread, but I don't think an F series can even make 550ftlbs, unless you're using an extremely oversized turbo.
>picture for ants
>no description
>doesn't even mention it's a chevy
1/10, apply yourself
I'd love to see an 820hp F-series. What would that take? Certainly a stroker kit, massive overbore, and a fuckhuge turbo.
yes and it wont sound like shit like an American V8
Peak Horsepower (@ RPM): 765 whp @ 7,600 RPM
Peak Torque (@ RPM): 587 lb-ft @ 6,700 RPM
no you dumb weeb
b series have been making those figures in the SFWD circle for years.
"sound like shit like an American v8"
>thinking they sound good
the only decent ones are Ford's Windsor, Modular, and Voodoo
Post sources you niggers. Also, what's the reliability on those drag racing motors? And how's their piston speed?
Voodoos and Modulars don't sound all that good though. Voodoo sounds especially bad for a flat plane.
You're right about the Windsor though - Boss 302's especially. OTher Trans am motors like Chevy's 302 and Mopar's 304 also sound good with their high redline.
any engine sounds nice at 9000 rpm
I still prefer this

thats not a drag racing engine
and I cant find a sheet but I dont doubt the claims there are dynos on youtube of it making 712whp

let me just do all the legwork. sit back and relax.
It's confusing to call your Top Fuel. Gets you confused with dragracing.
Just do a 2JZ-GTE with stronger internals, built rods, more aggressive cams, increased bore, and upgraded turbos and intercooler.
thanks mr skeletal

damn nice
Car would flex hard and be virtually undrivable. there's limitations to power on small, nimble cars.
Why do you think new sports cars weigh more?
Even the gtr creator said the gtr HAS to be heavy, for handling and power reasons
>lasts one run
>rebuild imminent
>2JZ
No thanks. A long, pigfat (iron block) six cilinder will ruin the handling.
>Car would flex hard and be virtually undrivable.
Unless you reinforced the chassis.
>there's limitations to power on small, nimble cars
No.
>Why do you think new sports cars weigh more?
Because safety regulations.
>Even the gtr creator said the gtr HAS to be heavy, for handling and power reasons
Apparently the GT-R creator doesn't know basic physics, like Newton's second law. F = m x a. Smaller mass = more acceleration.
lifespan: 5 runs
