They won't give expansion content, the main reason to save them is to store up Legendary marks and Cryptarch rep.

Use that info to decide yourself if its worth it or not.

Just use them, saving them will just get you the same result as using them now.

if not being geared is making the game less fun use them, if you don't care you can save them

I just got this game 2 weeks ago and hit 40 a few days ago. I really have little to no idea what I'm doing. I don't really play pvp. I just want to get to 335 light. I think I beat the story but I still have quests to do. I want to max the amount of legendary and exotic engrams and sterling treasures I get. How can I do this? Also all the legendary guns I'm getting are this horrid orange color. Where can I get some black legendary guns?

The only raid that matters for hitting 335 is King's Fall, and even then only Hard Mode. You can only get Raid rewards once a week per character.

People are saving their engrams in an attempt to level up Cryptarch quickly on the day Rise of Iron launches, so they have a chance at getting a legendary engram from ranking up.

Ah this explains it, warlock is my least favourite class. The Warlock jump will always fuck with me.

for exotic sword, you can use void edge and deplete using guard, the hilt kills will count as void abilities, works for all elements

not praxic, pulse rifles like bad juju got nerfed because their ttk was 2-3 bursts depending on the gun

No, I heard that praxic got nerfed as well, something about animation speed

the only way one could consider praxic nerfed is through the time in radiance being reduced if you used it to rez.

They buffed the super, so that peacock isn't as much of an improvement for shutting out grenades. I think it's worth it for a melee orb build or a song of flame but for pure grenades it's not that significant.
