wolves edition

Tips:
You can change vocations at level 10 at the Gran Soren inn or BBI.
Character appearance can be changed later on.
You don't need pawns, but they help.

Trying to do Water God's Altar and all of my pawns keep jumping into the water, instantly killing themselves with no way of reviving them.

Am I supposed to solo this?

don't sprint near the edge

>There was literally no one fighting that garbage ass 190 Ur.
>I went there three times and that HP bar was ridiculously full (yesterday at night).
>"191 generation now user teehee" :)

Fuck you fucking stupid ass fucker, fuck this shit.

Wolves edition?

what a bunch of puppers

>wolves edition

When dire wolves get all bloody and does that squeaky noise while crawling away I kind of feel bad for them

yeah it only makes me want to kill them faster

CRAWWWWWWWWWWLING

My online Ur Dragon is permanently dead. It's a real drag. I tried lots of stuff to fix it, going back since about gen 165. Nothing seems to work.

We actually reached the bump limit last thread? Color me surprised

All aboard the love train.

>Wizard/mage pawn
>Doesn't have Anodyne

These are the pawns i hire just so i can kick them in the river.

I want to mating press Mercedes.

Anodyne's shit, mate. Mages are for Grapnel, Halidom, Comestion, and Spellscreen.

>mages
>No buffs or healing capability

So what, you want to have to play a fucking mystic knight?

Mages and wizards both need at least Anodyne and fire/holy boon. The rest can be damage spells.

...

Why do you keep mentioning wizards?
Do you mean Sorcerers? They don't even have Anodyne. As for boons, that depends of your personal preference, but I prefer my Sorcerers with a fully offensive skillset.

Then who buffs?

I think Voidspell is acceptable

Mages, the support class.
Boons are not really necessary anyway.

My pawn wasn't getting any hires so i decided to revamp her.

What do you think?

Does anyone here know how to launch the game with Japanese audio and English text/interface on the pc version? From the Steam configuration panel I can only turn the game entirely Japanese or entirely English.

SLUT

before

Nobody, affinities are shit.

I'm pretty annoyed that the game is basically designed around having a pawn with Anodyne in your party

white health should've been auto-recovery when out of combat

You don't necessarily need them, they're just a luxury.

Can you not just bring a shitton of health items? That's what I did and had everyone on full offensive.

>Pawn comes back from helping another Arisen
>0 RC
>Rotten Scrag of Beast
>4/5/5 rating
>Forced to sit through a longer "Accessing Server"
This "Not user" motherfucker who rented my pawn is dead. You hear me? DEAD.

yeah but then you have to watch your equipment load and you have to menu around every single time, which is also disrupting

and then you also have that cheeky white health bar staring at you going "teehee you can't recover me without using rare jewels of health"

It's not as cumbersome as you'd think once you get used to it. The inventory menu pops in and out really quickly so it stops being an issue later on.

What class should be my pawn if I start off as a strider? Or should I not care about such things?

You should not care for such things, or most other things.

So I'm going for a female (Amazonian) warrior/fighter pawn.

Can anyone care to give me any good tips on how to make her look as much like an Amazonian woman/warrior ?

Thanks for the quick reply pal.

There's literal presets for that kind of thing. You could work off those.

Played this a bit on PS3 until I got to an area where I had to fight skeletons and got my shit pushed in. Started over on PS3 and didn't get past the encampment before I just bought the game on PC. Enjoying it a lot more on PC.

Went into the hometown well for the first time and just got my ass kicked by those giant lizards.

tried to do a no pawns run, felt really fucking lonely

are there any fun challenge runs to do with pawns?

one pawn, fighter vocation, with no upping their skills?

user, I want to summon her but I can't seem to find her on the list. Pls rest/set connectivity to online so I can grab her. Did you change vocation/level up since the screenshot?

False alarm. Found her.

I think she looked fine before, the main issue would just have been that armor. Can't speak for anyone else, but I've never found the poofy armor skirt very appealing (yes, I know it was a real thing at one point). It's also hard to match with leg armor.

Pls treat her nicely.

Fuck, she just jumped over a chest and into the water. Going to summon her back.

Well i figure people dont really hire fighters because sword and board is the most common Arisen class. So i switched that.

And then lots of people were telling me u need to show off midriff to get hires so i did that. I just slutted her up a bit.

Fighter is not the most common Arisen class

bampu

I just realized the Barreled Helm and Gryphic Armor parts don't have the same color, now I can't unsee it.

That's what capes are for, cos.

be careful for me dlc stuff was a no hire sign (and low rank vocation don't help)

Haven't thought about using presets, but I'll give it a try.

Might end up doing a dwarf instead

...

...

Just entered Witchwood for the first time to find Quina. How fucked am I?

Fine, its just wolves and spiders on your first visit.

I ran into some spoopy spirits that possessed us. Just spoke to Selene

I started a new character and THERE'S A BARBER IN GRAN SOREN!?

SINCE WHEN!?

Don't travel at night, you know unless you want to get spooked.

It's DLC. Comes included in Dark Arisen.

It was okay. Completed the quest, and that bitch Quina just fucking teleported out of there!!!

Also, how the fuck do I get to this bag at the dead end next to Selene's house?

To show it better, this big ass rock in the center is blocking it, and even when I climb on top of it, I can't get to the bag on the other side.

Rook is becoming a ghost

>tfw will never be able to make the perfect goblin pawn

He's too far gone. A skeleton is inside him :(

Do you not do anything until someone here tells you what to do?

You cant pass it now, you will later.

Not the case. I got to a new area and went to desktop to look up something, came here and made a post then kept playing. Just interested in people's responses whenever I pause and come back to the thread.

As far as the rock, that was a legit question because I wasn't sure if something was wrong with my game or if I just had to wait until later to get to the bag.

...

Hey, I usually play rogues in games, and I started Strider. Should I go Assassin or Magick Archer?

Assassin is ridiculously good. You get bows, daggers, swords and shields.

Alright, I usually prefer the backstab side of rogue so that sounded neater anyway.

They even got an auto counter that's a real "pssh, nothing personal kid" type of move.

Assassin is weak compared to ranger and strider, if you care.

It can get a little stale after a while because you can do so much damage at all ranges. You get a bow with fivefold flurry and you are literally clearing entire crowds of enemies before you pawns can reach them and you can take care of groups of harpies on your own as well as draw aggro from Griffins and shit which is important because your pawns wont initiate combat with Griffins until you do.

And powder blast can trip over most monsters in 2 hits. Plus you get all the good sword skills so you really can just do anything.

I'm one of the rare few who loves assassin on this general and even I think you're overselling it.

So quick question. Waaaaaay back, a few months or so after DD:DA came out for 360 and such, someone on here posted a comic of the Arisen attempting to give Grigori the Bond. I didn't save it then, and Google has been singularly unhelpful.
Anyone got it?
Also, bumping with cuddly Chimera.

Thats literally how it goes for me.

Goblins and Skellie crowds? Fivefold flurry with flame buff and i can easily take out 10 of them with stamina left. Ogre or Cyclops? Two powder blasts to the feet and gouge/intimate gambit.

Harpies? Triad shot followed with compass slash. You even get armor peircing movies.

I literally got so tired of raping ass non-stop that i switched to Mystic Knight in act 4. I don't know how well Assassin does late game but i could do so much more as an assasin then i could as a fighter, warrior or mystic knight and thats without ever touching the Daggers.

Not any of the guys in the reply chain, but that sounds interesting, user. Maybe I'll give it a shot later, as a way to take a break from Magick Trollface.
Even though I love me some Immolation.

What's the most useful pawn vocation?

Sorcerer probably. Good damage and they kill ghosts. Striders have better damage, but don't kill ghosts. Also Voidspell saves idiot pawns who walk into petrifying gas.

cute!

strider

Is there a mod to make the game's colors more like the 360 version? It's not "too yellow" like the others.

install an enb and mess around with it

>never understood the appeal of muscle girls
>watch the Olympics
>see this

At last I truly see.

Her head is so small.

Someone with those proportions in DD's aesthetic would look pretty freakish.

Your eyes are yet to open.

shes not amazing, but definitely cute

>when you do your first playthrough blind and completely regret missing all those sidequests once you check the wiki

i explored and grinded like fuck too. guess ill make a second save

Maybe I should watch the Olympics.

Woah.
Let's take it one step at a time user, I'm not sure I am ready to appreciate that much muscle just yet.

not necessarily
ng+

Fuck the Chamber of Fate

Am I experiencing a glitch?
I had tons of notice board quests to do at the Gran Soren Inn, but did some Royal Order quests first.
I went back to the notice board and they've all vanished. I haven't had any appear for the past two-three days, it's completely empty. What's going on?

>run up to the ballista at the conquerer's sanctuary
>kill the goblins
>want to shoot the cyclopes
>pawns keep mounting it
>every time I pull one off, another gets on

JUST

Escort quests will disappear after enough time has passed. Sometimes they'll show up again. If there's one you REALLY want to do make sure your affinity with that person is high-ish. Don't make them pink in the face if you don't want to love them, but some characters won't have an escort quest with low affinity.

Like I did one for the Inn-keeper and the same one was available a week later. Also remember that there's only 6 on a board at a time and that you'll have to clear out some from your active quests list to make more appear.

's all I got. Most of them are garbage anyway.

Best leveling path for magick archer?

Oh, i'm an idiot. I don't know what I was thinking.

Progressing in the game will automatically fail certain side-quests once you DO certain main-quests.

If you don't want to fuck up again, i'd take a look at this and keep it in mind: dragonsdogma.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Story_Progression_Stages

There's quite a few quests that are dependent on previous ones being done. Hope you didn't miss a big one.

Double gorechimera and hellhound summoning lich, aye?

What do you usually do once you unlock the everfall? do you farm for some specific item, level a bit until you feel ready for BBI or just go straight to NG+?

Might as well do a quick runthrough NG+ for the extra portcrystals and new store items.

Having 8 portcrystals is great because you can put one basically everywhere you want to go.
