What are some easyish, beginner mods I can do to my car to generally improve it? I don't care if it's comfort, performance, etc. I have some extra cash and I wanna get into the hobby. Where should I start? I drive a base model econobox (5 speed Nissan Versa S), but I'm sure there's still something I can do.
My cousin is a mechanic so I'll have access to tools and a garage.

Is that your car?
Is it a CVT?

Yea, it's mine. I bought the manual even though it doesn't have shit for luxury features just because I wanted to learn stick. I know I could add power windows and locks and shit, but I'm indifferent about those features anyways.

>I drive a base model econobox (5 speed Nissan Versa S) ok OP. Here's what you do to make your car got.
>1: litter the interior with things you don't want. Garbage, ex-girlfriends, pets that poo everywhere, family members you don't like, etc. >2: pour kerosene or gasoline over it >3: light the match and watch the bonfire >4: collect insurance money >5: buy something that isn't a Nissan Versa
The cheapest car in its segment is also the shittiest car in its segment.

Find me a turbo that fits, and I will. The only thing I could find online was for the older Versa Note.
Definitely working on the stickers, fampai. Might actually throw on some different wheels soon. What would be the best size to improve handling? Any recommended brands?
I bought it because it was a shitbox. I'm not trying to work miracles here. I know what I have. I just wanna spruce it up for shits and gigs.

>buy better tyres >perform regular maintenance
Grayson Ortiz
>I just wanna spruce it up for shits and gigs. Well you should've chosen a car with... I don't know... aftermarket support. There is nothing you can do to a Versa short of dumping thousands into it. Aftermarket support for the second gen cars is non-existent.

>when you see it
Andrew Smith
>better wheels with primo tires >aftermarket headlights >footwell lighting >maintenance >better speakers Done, good for plenty of 17-yr old pucci
wrong model retard. OP's car is a 2012+ car. different headlight. The first gen Versa's (2007-2011) have decent aftermarket support. The second gen cars are so hated, no one's really bothered.

GGWP.
You're definitely not wrong. But I didn't really think about it when I bought it. I just wanted something cheap and reliable that would last me a while as a DD. I was gonna buy something used, but my area is the absolute fucking worst for buying used.

>don't exist for a versa >clearly exist >b-but that's not the right model so time to benchrace 2 GBP have been deposited into your tendies account

A Chevy Sonic would've been more reliable, faster, more interesting, cooler, more fun to drive, better handling and has the all important aftermarket support. Oh and the manual is available on EVERY trim level, not just the base stripper models with absolutely no features.
>dumbass posts parts for unrelated car with same name >"see?! Aftermarket" >gets called out for being a moron >"lol you're mad" fuck off retard.
