FAGGOTS

They are half decent at both, they wont ever get you as far as a 100% off road tyre but they also won't clog up with shit and turn into slicks as soon as you look at a bit of mud

And no, not at all.
knobbies are for getting the dirt out of your tyre, on street they serve absolutely no purpose.
Its kinda like how the grooves in an on road tyre make is worse if the road is dry, they are only there to deflect water from the contact point.

I want to get a tank pad for my R3 but the dealer wants to sell me one specific to my model for $100. are the $20 ebay ones just as good, fitment and quality wise?

It's time to end the debate of "best bike" once and for all.

strawpoll.me/10481908

There are only 6 bikes in that picture

...

>no ujm
>no standard
>no roadster

What the fuck is a roadster?

Ohh, I feel like such an idiot! Ohh wait? No I don't because nobody cares about any of those except maybe the roadster but I'd just lump that in with a cruiser because it's the same thing.

I can almost guarantee anybody riding a ujm or standard wish they were riding something else unless the bike had sentimental value for whatever reason.

>2nd day of owning my spanking new SV 650
>I fucking drop it

Thankfully nothing too bad happened.

>thankfully I am a repair genius
>minor clutch adjustments and a bit of panzertape
>it's barely visible
:^)

How did you do that senpai

my local dealer has one of these at AUD$15k plus on-roads.
any one ridden one?
are they good, comfy etc

I parked it on a barely noticable incline, didn't fully put the handlebar to the left or put it in gear.
Checked with my hips whether it was stable, then dismounted, walked a 2 meters and heard it crash.
Prayed it was some sort of car running into a tree, but when I saw her lying there my heart stopped.

basically, I am a fucking retard.

Nose "downwards" the incline.
I guess it moved a few inches, the stand gave way and it fell over.

>basically, I am a fucking retard.
GG. How new is the bike?

Bought it yesterday. New.

He'd bought it yesterday

>No super/naked
You fucked up, niqqa

Get a enduro and have more run. You don't think so now but don't make the same mistake I did. Just get the enduro.

Standards are great bikes. If you don't own a car and need your bike to do commuting, touring, twisties/whatever a standard would be a great place to start.

15k new? The only thing I didn't like about them is how shit the stock exhaust looks.
Just go test ride the thing and see if you like it

in pretty sure there's a sport bike option if you look hard enough.

Fairings are for fags, though

Yea
>great place to start

Nobody would actually be content with that as their only bike if the could afford something else or they were new to riding.

At least you know how to park a bike properly now

>implying they let you test drive bikes before you buy them.

I've bought two brand new bikes and no matter how much I've looked around and asked no dealership was ever about to let me test drive anything new.

Do you see a full fairing on there, you bellend?

i have three bikes allready, i like what i like.
lol.they dont have one, dealer politics or some shit, i would have to go about 100 miles north to another dealership to get a testride. which is a pain to say the least

It's basically a sport bike with no fairings. I guess you can say it's less of a sport bike right?

What kind of shit dealerships do you have down south?
I turned up to BMW and was test riding bikes in less than 10min.

I really hope they're not all sport bikes.

bmw is the only dealership of its kind tho, a monster
kawasaki is more smaller dealers spread out

2 x zzr1200
1 x gpz900

I'm not from the south though? Maybe it's just a Utah thing but no matter have much I asked any dealership I've never been able to test drive anything despite having enough money in my bank account to buy the bike straight up.

>not an i4
>comes factory tuned for touring and commuting
>no faired option
Jej, keep being wrong, nobike
>as if this wasn't the shittiest attempt at "wat bik is gud"

It is the same, we are the same.

No team motos in the area?

Was responding to the Aus tripfag since I'm also Australian.

But in all honesty who the fuck would buy a bike without test riding it. They have dealer insurance you sign for which is like a $2500 excess on any damage you do. Unless the US is vastly different

Maybe that's because BMWs cost soo much letting people test drive them and hoping they crash is the only way they can sell them?

Opps, didnt see 2nd day. Well you wont fucking do that again now will you

As retarded as you are, technically my Shiver is a supermoto with a plushy seat and a larger tank

now that you mention it, bmw let me test ride a used f800 without signing anything. maybe cose it was used

>BMW costs so much
>exact same price as triumph
>cheaper than KTM, Ducati, MV

Ok

Like I said, literally no way to test drive anything no matter how much asking I did and even showing them I had enough cash to buy the bike right then and there.

I hate to break it to you but KTM and Ducati are expensive bikes user and I'm afraid BMW still has them beat in the cost of their bikes.

That sucks bro. Hopefully you can find a good bike despite not being able to ride anything

Already did, got a husky 501.

And yet theyre all still unrefined shit compared to glorious nippon bikes

Naa, the KTMs are fun.

Honda a best

Super duke 4K more expensive than an s1000r in my country.
Price was the reason why I didn't buy the KTM over the BMW

>But in all honesty who the fuck would buy a bike without test riding it
Being a learner is suffering. They wouldnt even let me on the learner bikes

may be fun but still has poor european build quality

That shit's redundant.

Says the guy who trusts the Germans.

theyll let some nig nog on a full licence ride away on a harley, but i cant even start the engine on a scooter

Not even on used learner bikes?

Theyre the worst of the euro brands

I bet you think the good guys won wwii as well

Dunno, didn't ask. their used section is separate to the main dealership. I doubt they had any used 2016s though

BECAUSE YOU DO NOT BUY A NEW LEARNER, YOU TWAT

nigga u wot

Scooters are great!

> sell punto to a friend
>buy BMW with that money
> keep TT
or
>keep punto until it someday dies
>put money into TT for tuning n shit
or
>keep Punto
> buy Smiling ninja
>keep TT
or
>sell TT to dad
>buy smiling ninja
>keep Punto

Great for spotting homos

ayyylmao

how hard is it to replace a clutch lever?

piece of piss. get some pink shorties off ebay

Sell Punto, buy nice reliable Jap shitbox
Sell TT to father
Buy smiling Ninja

the one where you get the 636 so you can tell me if all those reviewers are full of shit or not

what do the reviews say?
ayyy
fuck off TW user :^(

+1

>what do the reviews say?
its just a slightly larger 300

that its not very impressive for a supersport

is this good or bad?

what happens when you add more bike but dont add more engine?

>Duel sport
Are those the ones with the manuel transmissions?

>Can't upload webms
Fuck you Veeky Forums

>fuck off TW user :^(

: o

I'm not even TW user though...

> don't get caught speeding like a massive fuckhead again
> get a job
> keep them all

You have to fight them to even get on.

fuk
I thought maybe 300 handling with 600 power
well well
well. but I do want a smiling ninja, how many cc should I look for then?
about 900 so I can keep up with tw user and his fireblade
nice try tw user
only you would say "hurr buy a miata"

I never said anything about Miatas.

Buy a 2wd Hilux, skids for days.

>fuk
>I thought maybe 300 handling with 600 power
Like the other user said, buy one and find out if all the reviews are full of shit

better than a scooter with juan gear

>how many cc should I look for then?
Honestly sempai if you're still set on a ninja go 10R, unless you can test ride a 6R beforehand and make up your own mind.

The dealers near haven't been doing demos otherwise I would have checked it out for myself.

sounds actually good.
and sikk off-road shit, well at least gravel roads
are they available with 4wd and diff?

ayy limon
but thstsa lot of money to "just figure something out"

...

...

They are.

Petrol, diesel, four cylinder, V6 etc.

You could borrow the TT off your father, chuck it in the back and drive to an MX track for mad hooning.

I bet dirtbikes because majority a poor shitbike owners

>technically my Shiver is a supermoto with a plushy seat and a larger tank
no it's not. what gave you that idea

>but thstsa lot of money to "just figure something out"
get a H2 then.

Don't you know about fun user?

well I still have the TT, so I don't need to borrow anything
just selling the Punto for a Hilux would be possible, would have to look with insurance tho.
H2?
like H2R without R?

2clean4me

I like clean, it lets you get it dirty all over again.

H2R is race only, cant be registered on the road. H2 is the road legal version, detuned down to around 250hp
