haha no, we have the totally not garrisons 2.0 called class holes.

Garrisons were really used thus were successful, the main complaint was that there were no ppl around so they made class halls be shared by players of the same class.

Also you cant not play them because they give important shit like sending followers to unlock quests for you and researching stuff like artifact knowledge
