The spoilers are enough to understand how his character is portrayed actually. His "over the top" antics as you said is exactly how he's always been in the manga since Death-T all the way to the BC finals. As for Aigami it's harder to figure out what kind of character he is with the spoilers since he's never been shown before and the spoilers can't capture the true essence of his character since it's mentioned he has some complex philosophical dialogue and his actions reflect that part of his personality.

Conan is mainstream as fuck. It's on par with One Piece. YGO is pretty niche compared to them. The movie is doing well though. It was very well received to the point where it's getting more screenings and should surpass the 1 billion mark soon. That's very good for the amount of theaters it's in.

Why do you bother with YGO anime/manga then? It's clear that no one can meet your expectations and this franchise is horrible with consistency in its writing staff so things aren't going to get any better. You're wasting your time if you ask me.

It's not irredeemable. There are plenty of Xyz cards without OPT restrictions, but limited by Xyz materials. And that card can help them use said effects multiple times in a row.

You are better off if you just run Tempest Magican burn. Chaos Dyson sphere is a fun card in trains, but it is really hard to summon it with RUM.

Dark rebellion xyz dragon, for example.
