Kinda fun for the first playthrough, but the second playthrough is a real slog, mostly because the game is so easy that I can easily make ultimate stuff in first playthrough, making it even easier.

And it probably has the easiest optional boss out of all modern Atelier games. I beat the strongest one without even using a single healing item. Mostly because Logy is too OP.

I liked the characters more than E&L. The story also feels more directed than E&L, but there are some noticeable flaws.

The updated events sometimes feel so abrupt (like, Ayesha suddenly walks out of nowhere and joins in the conversation as if she had been listening in from the beginning), or DLC characters that's inconsistent with the story (Escha being send by Raoul to call the party back to town even though she's already in the party in the first place).

Also, the added events sometimes conflict with the old events. Like, a topic is addressed from rather early on and became one of the game's main plot point, and then near the end they start discussing that topic as if it were the first time they talked about it.

Sourin is a pretty good character. I think the other person who might have gotten it was convinced when I asked because they saw the character.

I personally didn't take many screenshots because I didn't want to strengthen my urge to exit out of the game. It uses the extra data so I can't just transfer the screenshots without interrupting the game.
