No.

>ford still fucking over people for profit
Im sure henry would be proud that they continued his scumbag legacy

Ford would be. Don't know what Benz would think

Henry ford would have no idea what's going on. Until you explained to him how much money he's raking in

Pretty certain Henry was all riled up about Le Mans, so I think the recent beating of Ferrari alone would make him feel alright.

>and that thing had a v6 in it?
I'm literally busting up at the thought of this

>Henry Ford only used to sell Model Ts in black because it was the most efficient color, because it dried up the fastest

im sure he will love the efficinecy of the ecoboost

*tips fedora*

They would be frightened by the moving pictures in the box in the living room.

>FoMoCo still the engineer's brand
>GM still shitting out modular chassis with ancient engines

Karl Benz would probably be most impressed with the fact that many of his company's cars are still on the road. Let's show him a W124 and a W204, then tell him the cars are only 30 years apart. That shit will blow his mind.

I think Henry Ford would very much appreciate the Focus and Fiesta, especially all the various equipment options, the contained chaos on the semi-automated production line, and the very idea that a 1-liter engine with a snail on it could move anything. Being younger than Benz, he might have a better grasp on modern automotive principles.

Ford was a goddamn genius.

>can't sell cars? make them cheaper and sell them cheaper so the average man can buy them
>can't keep workers? pay them at least a company set minimum wage and an less grueling workday length
>need to innovate? nah fuck that just keep cranking out your best until you get passed up in a decade or two

That was Henry the Deuce (yes that kind). Henry 1 wouldn't give a shit about LeMans. The only reason he went racing early on was to get the ball rolling, so to speak, and after that he didn't care a bit about racing.

As far as his satisfaction with the company is concerned no he wouldn't like it. He wanted simple value provided to a moral people, which he considered to be mostly farmers. And him of course. So all this extra bullshit of varied colors, automatics, air conditioning, multiple models, etc would be quite distressing to him.

He was also a megalomaniacal nutjob so take that for what it's worth.

Well I was more referring to the fact that it was a v6 engine. Not like a big ASS v8 that was in the gt40 during that domination.

>implying he would appreciate an inefficient v8 engine

>innovation
Most of Ford's innovation comes from knowing what corners can be cut and still produce a decent car.

>fucking plastic wheel bearing cages
>fucking plastic intake manifolds
>fucking plastic injectors
>fucking plastic head covers
>let's just make the whole damn car out of plastic
>OH WAIT GM ALREADY DID THAT

That came later, starting with the Whiz Kids led by McNamara that Henry II brought in. Henry 1 would have told them to fuck off.

Well probably not "fuck" since he was convinced of his own moral superiority and swearing wouldn't have fit that. Intent would still have been quite clear though.

I think now that we have efficient robotic production lines, he would be more open to having varied equipment and models, seeing that they can be produced easily without taking advantage of the workforce.
Most of his decisions on the Model T were based on production practicality, not just because he wanted simple shit for simple people. The dude was way smarter than that.

also the Model A and B had a shit ton of colors and configurations, and you could have a B with a 4-cylinder or V8, so the idea that Hentry Ford was averse to giving his customers options is inherently wrong.

he paid his workers some of the highest wages ever

literal retard alert

Henry the first actually didn't want to move away from the the early models.lots of articles about how late in life he felt cars were getting too complex.

Yeah. Go to a CPI calculator and punch in $5/hr for 1925 and then multiply that by 2000 to get the equivalent yearly salary for today.

I get $68.64/hr in today's money and an equivalent yearly salary of $137280

This was an assembly line job at Ferd.

Said gt40 actually had several iterations and was almost going to be powered by a Porsche v12 at one point.

Didnt say anything about employees
>Doesnt know fords history
>calls others retarded

...

Ford paid his workers an obscenely high salary at the time. Basic linemen made the equivalent of a bout $65 per hour back in the day. The Model T was sold at only a 10% profit margin, which was seen as a joke by other automakers which commanded 50%-200% profits on their vehicles at the time.

Show Henry all the videos of Mustangs crashing into people.

Or show him how Ford trolled Ferrari 2 times in a row. This time with a V6.

Show him that the same quality exists from when he started.
