I just started playing AMK AE 1.4.1 and I'm a little unclear on how artefact transmutation works. Do I need to get the recipes for it to work? I saved the chat image with the recipes on it, but nothing I have tried is working so far. Are the "hours" required game hours or real hours? Help a cyka out.

Just about to install CoP for another run through after beating vanilla years ago. What mods do I install. I'm not really looking for some modder's story or anything, but just a good basic kind of mod that adds some guns and other cool shit.

Is Misery way too much? I'm not really looking for something too extreme.

Anons, anynone know how to edit frequency of stashes in shadow of chernobyl? which file is responsible for it?

I think it's related to certain values assigned to each individual stash.

I've fucked around with them and it caused stashes to bundle up into a big dump of coordinates off of one body, and made it possible to receive the same stash more than once, though I don't know if it refilled the stash with loot.

Ok anons, i forget how to increase number of stashes that pop up from dead bodies, currently i'm using AA2+TT2 merge, it uses the same scripts for managing stashes as vanilla and most of the mods, the problem is that i don't remember which part of file was responsible for frequency

I did delete that xrs_grenade.script file and copied a file in game/sounds/weapons and renamed to groza_silenced.ogg but the game still crashes when I try to start a new game.

I downloaded it and extracted in the Stalker folder, if I try to open it I get a pop up saying my software is already updated t0 1.0005 and doesn't need another update.

1st off, make sure there isnt an instance of xr_3da.exe still running in your task manager

then if it still dont work just start over. from reinstall/verify game cache

run the game once to make sure it works, then start with the modding
the drag and drop patches are good, i've used them before.

I uninstalled and reinstalled and the same thing happened every time I try to install that 1.0004 patch.

You literally just paste the folder over you installation and delete the .dbc .dbd files
