first for honda ok

first

Any anons live in Colorado? Going there soon.

...

Do you ever adv?

Bikes aren't real it's a conspiracy they just cut cars in half

always

Good morning, /dbt/

salutations man in the 70's

reminder that honda a shit

Do you mean stuck in the 1970s or that i'm in my 70s? Not sure if I should be offended kek

What's in that ketchup bottle?

pickle relish or pico de gallo more than likely, maybe salsa verde

probably ketchup

look at those colors, clearly you timewarped on the way there

Hey Veeky Forums, don't come here too much anymore but in need of some advice. My ignition switch on my bike is fucked, I can't turn it off, I can kill the engine but not cut off any electrical. The closest thing to that is leaving my bike with the parking lights on. Any time I turn the key to the OFF position, it spins right past it and the whole cylinder rotates.
Anyone else had this problem? Is it just the ignition switch?
Bike is a 2007 zx6r btw

>probably ketchup

thanks

kawasaki a shit

yes

>125
>adv
kek

...

You stole it, didn't you? Broke the cylinder with a screwdriver, you did. Bastard.

Replace it with an Emgo, pic related.

>American cars mania

Fak u, 125 is plenty if you're not fat

I rode from Germany to Belgium/Nederlands triangle and back in one day
biggest adventure for me ever, since wasn't using GPS or anything other than road signs for orientation

madman

Red is hot sauce, green is mild sauce

Kek they haven't updated since the. Probably, still my favorite fast messican food in the springs.

it took about 8 hours iirc
no autobahn of course

125cc FTW

You got me
Thanks man, I'll look into it

Steve Hofmann circumnavigated Africa on a Yamaha 125cc.

And of course there's Simon Gandolfi. 70-somehting years old, 30-somthing wife, 17 year old son. This is his central / south american trip, on a 125 he bought in Mexico.

Did he fail his A2?

Considering doing the trek to look at this. What should I look for when suss in out if a bikes in good condition or not?

Only on brand new slicks

I swear never get a driver's license if you have a parent that can't drive

>acquire bike
>spend all days not at work driving car to grocery stores and wondering why the fuck I bothered

Lel
>Have multiple licenses
>Have blind mother
>Only asks me for shit she absolutely can't do
Sounds like you're parents are shit

Newfaggot here.
I have at least one year before I can get my own bike but I was wondering what you guys would recommend most for a newbie between a dual sport or a basic roadster.

The use would be mainly for going to work and maybe some country roads occasionally. Is it only a matter of going off road or not?

Also the Yamaha FZ series caught my eye something fierce, does /dbt/ like it?

First time riding or have you been riding for a while?
Also fz's are fun as hell

pic unrelateed

Never did.
Taking my theoretical test in a month then starting the closed circuit courses.

It's fucking pathetic but what got me interested is riding one of those shitty electric scooters my grandma bought.

Different poster, but there's a DRZ-400 for sale that I'm thinking of buying as first bike. Is that too under powered for roads? Or would that one be okay for basic commuting?

Rode anyway despite the heat/humidity, wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be

the DR-Z is a good bike. literally the to go bike for everything. plenty of tuning and tips/tricks avaivable on the web.
if it's decently priced and well taken care of, then you should get it.

Just bought my first bike 3 days ago! what do you guys think?

Thanks. I'll see about taking it for a test ride later this week.

When you'll inevitably die will you please send 1,5k to Rick Miller in Seymour

i couldve started on an fz-09 for sure, but 07 was probably appropriate

I love mine. I can cruise at 70mph no problems. I don't think I'd be as happy with any other bike. It does a whole lot.

I hope you got some crashbars for it

thats a negative, im going to purchase sliders is all

are crashbars really necessary? I feel like thats excessive, but what do i know

I'm trying to understand some stuff while I wait on paperwork to go through so I can finally ride the goddamn bike I paid for and is now waiting in front of the house.

a: on a bike you do steer with the handlebars - as long as you're slow enough. Example: cone course at license exam, first gear.
b: at higher speeds, you steer to some degree by leaning, but only after the turn is initiated by countersteering
c: countersteering in everyday life outside the track is a subtle and short process, where you do the namesake action (pressing the handlebar in the counterintuitive direction) only very briefly, before returning the handlebars to neutral direction or direction of the turn, at which point it's the leaning that directs the motorcycle in the desired direction.

Is this correct so far?

Ni
Even if you don't know it you're always countersteering...
But it's mostly instinctive and thinking about it will just confuse you

It can safe you more damages when you drop/crash it

Give me 3 reasons why I shouldnt buy this dbt.

losangeles.craigslist.org/sfv/mcd/5645215176.html

is that really an inevitability? Has everyone here dropped/crashed their bikes?

At some point it happens, with some more than others.

as far as functional mods go to add to the bike and to prevent damage, what do you think is worth it? sliders over cages, other way around?

Just got back from Assen, took some pictures.

I want a custom sidecar so I can live in it.

I prefer the big bars (or cages)
But that might be because I have a bike with the engine sticking out.

>tfw I can't afford to go to Assen this year

I usually go the day before the races, ticket is 28 euro.

Yeah, but I also have to pay for a €28 train ticket, and travel 6 hours in total.
Fuck having no bike

>mfw I found out about another feature on my jacket that makes it that little bit cooler

I went to the Harley Days in Hamburg today

>beginner rider
>read about tar snakes/road snakes
>live in new england so they are fucking everywhere
>super afraid of them
>ride for a while and realize nothing happens when i go over them
>get really comfortable and just conclude that the entire thing is a meme
>go into sharp turn
>decent amount of road snakes
>front tire skips over and entire bike shifts
>shit my pants
>didnt fall, but almost did

time to quit riding boys

...

they become silly putty in the rain/heat

...

Anyone in the UK know about these London emission charges for bikes coming in 2020? If my scrambler is 2007 but not EU LVL 3 compliant because it has carbs not fuel injection, can I make it fi thus making it compliant? Or because of the manufacture date will I still need to pay

...

...

They're only a problem if you're rossi'ing through a bend or you are attemptIng to lock your brakes.

Be wary of hem but don't let it cloud your situational awareness

That's all

you mean opening the zipper?

Nice blog post

>found the Fairweather rider

>jack Daniels
Absolutely disgusting

You test ride anything?

> want to visit sister
