Can a MKIV Supra engine get stuffed into a MKIII with any issues?

Can a MKIV Supra engine get stuffed into a MKIII with any issues?
i can get my hands on a turbocharged 2JZ GTE engine right now but i don't know if it'll fit.

Go to google.

Yes it will fit

is there going to be anything that needs to be changed out or is it just 'drop it in and line up the tranny and plug everything back in' kind of transplant?

Man go look at some forums, Veeky Forums is for shitposting, not actual information

You don't know jack shit, do you?

want to use this guide to stuff a 2JZ in, i've got a MK3 1991 toyota with 5 speed manual.

can someone please break it down on how i need to go about doing this?
trust me, i'm competent, but this is mucky as hell.

>1jz

But there's 2 of them m8

I put one in mine.
It is basically a bolt-in swap, you just need different engine mounts and an entire ECU/harness swap plus the obvious supporting mods

Remove old engine, install new one. I did it on a mates car, but it was about 10 years ago, so have forgotten most of it. Wasn't too bad to do from memory.

By the way OP, that engine isn't a GTE, its a non-turbo GE with a turbo added. Just so you know.

did you have to buy anything else?

see
>motor mounts
>electrical shit
>any aftermarket goodies you plan on throwing in there like intercooler/radiator/turbo

>and then he said "i bought a toyota"

>and then he said "it's a boosted supra"

>he couldn't afford a car that is actually fast around a track

>girls
>caring about "track times"

0/10

If you tell a girl it's fast, they'll believe anything unless you come across a tomboy, then you're fucked

They seem to have misplaced the timing cover and the air filters.

Luckily, those of us with actual fast cars don't have to worry about it

Iv got a 58mm 2jz mark 3 supra with a r154.
490 rear hp.
Its not a simple swap
And if you do the swap go single before you swap.

No, as we had an entire front cut to get anything we needed from. Used the 7m radiator from memory, made hoses fit etc. Pretty sure the standard dump pipe didn't fit either.

slow piece of shit...i can smoke the fuck out of this in my 1994 EG hatch with a couple of simple mods:

- 10 point cage with Parachute
- 3 piece discontinued JoJo frontend
- spec-R full drag suspension
- Fuel cell with -8 lines from tank to motor
- 1 044 bosch pump
- 1200 rc injectors
- golden eagle sleeved block
- cp 10:1 pistons
- Eagle rods
- arp headstuds
- oem h22 headgasket
- Balance shaft delete
- competition clutch twin disc
- Port and polished head
- skunk2 valve springs and retainers
- Str cam gears
- crower stage 1 cams
- aluminium radiator with slim fan
- gsr transmission with itr lsd.
- qsd h2k intake manifold adapter
- k20 rbc manifold
- qsd throttle body spacer
- blox 70mm throttle body
- 4bar omni map sensor
- 6al msd with coil and cap. 3 step launch control
- hks bov
- Garret 102mm turbocharger.
- Custom t4 front facing turbo manifold with 44mm flange
- 44mm tial wastegate
- Custom water to air intercooler set up
- aem eugo wideband w/ gauge
- tuned on chipped p28
- 13 inch volks drag rims
- 2 15 inch volks rear rims
- arp extended wheel studs
- si cluster
- 150 shots of nitrous

im making 248 horsepower to the FRONT WHEELS because thats the only place the power should ever be.

GOOGLE IT YOU RETARD
COMMON SWAP

Given how much a car like that is probably driven, it's probably not important for the car shows, trailer rides to car shows, and occasional trip down the drag strip

ok

did the swap in mine, different engine mounts and lightly used a port-a-power on the firewall to make some space. No issues
