who is your waifu?

Where are you located? Ever work on a 2004 monte carlo?

I want to street tune a N/A 3.0R legacy 2005, and make maybe 300-400 whp. I've thought about boosting it, raptor au makes supercharger kits for it but I want something with more low end power.

I understand this wouldn't be cheap, but would it be ridiculously expensive? And would I have to get the engine rebuilt with forged/billet components?

Thankfully I have never worked with a 04 monte carlo lol

Don't do much with superchargers here.

you could get a 50 trim turbo for around 700-1100 depending on options and easily put down 300-400. Can't speak for the 3.0 legacy's strength, but most non shit engines can make 300 without being fully built.

The 3.0 H6 runs at 10-1 compression ratio I believe, so I'd have to keep the boost low or change the compression down a little. Sound right?

raimu senpai

>50 trim turbo
like this means anything.

how do I get a real mechanic job if I am a small engines mechanic currently? ideally for a performance shop

he's in iowa

seriously, watch the mighty car mods episodes on super gramps. same principle applies.

shouldnt the turbo be covered in some heat shield or something?

That grill shell around it is the newest tech in heat shielding user.

So, serious question. Why do this with a fwd?

Common term for the ratio of a compressor wheel and turbine wheel. Usually a 54mm inducer on the compressor and 57mm inducer on the turbine.

10:1 aint bad i'd try to keep the octane high and you'd be fine.

Theres a heat blanket on the turbine housing

wassup senpai

If I remember right he ran 10s or 11s. You ever talk to gtpfag? lol

lol all that on a FWD

Oh he's going straight. That explains it.

Unfortanetly most people I deal with only go straight.

here's a cyclone with a 408 ls and a 91/101 turbo.

Nothing wrong with drag racing. I just didn't realize that it was purpose built for it. I wonder how the transmission is doing...

>replying to yourself

my b ese, was meant for

I'm more of an autox/track man myself

I'd hope he built it lol

>Why do people dump tens of thousands of dollars into cars just so they can keep up with >$10,000 liter bikes?

I ride a 2001 r6 that I payed 2500 for. I'd still smash most built up cars. It's just not the point, it's a different feel and different ride. Love both. And now I am going to go replace the water pump in my shitbox grand dix.

>Implying
My non-supersport literbike does 0-60 in 3.3 seconds.

That's the broadest price range fucking ever for a bike. Like fuck man, if you're gonna use symbols, at least understand what they mean.
