Firing HE is seen as one of the most cancerous things a battleship can do, right up there with bluelining. I don't know where this idea got into everyone's heads, but it's the only class that's universally seen as only needing to fire one type of shell. I've been in several duels with enemy BBs in which he's perfectly angled at decent range so I start firing HE, and my teammates start talking shit because I don't have AP selected. Feels like Dunning Kruger in full effect, since the class is also seen as the easiest.
