Yeah, but a lot of the stuff in TTK and the base game establishes that what we're fighting is barely even a token force. They were just scouts, and the fact they held out as long as they did while making all of Mars a no-fly zone is impressive on it's own.

If they were to do something like this, it would have to be the Cabal attacking the city with a full scale invasion force with you defending then doing a counter attack.

You would obviously run into retards doing all they can to ruin other teams raids.
And of course there stands the issue of not being able to get another raid team to intersect.
It would just be dumb and impossible to get right.
You would either trivialize the additional fireteams, or let some fireteams fall prey to dicks and "trolls".

Also it would fall apart later on when there are fewer fire teams doing the raid. Parts of it would become impossible to do because the game wouldn't be able to instance another team.

"Combined Arms" isn't actually an option I don't think, but you can select Mayhem gametypes on the big maps with vehicles on.
