Mazda confirms 250 hp and a 310 lb-ft CX-9 engine will fit in Mazda 3 and 6

>mazda confirms 250 hp and a 310 lb-ft CX-9 engine will fit in Mazda 3 and 6
>still won't make new MS3 or MS6
Mazda I love you but why do you keep cuckteasing me so

>reading the manual
get out linuxcucks

w-what?

>Truck engine in a car
Nope

Also, 250 hp is less than what current Mazdaspeeds have

>not wanting torque

But it's literally only down on power because it's been tuned for muh torks. I don't know why Mazda doesn't retune it (what, some cams and a header?), stick it in the 3, go to Autozone and grab a wing, hood scoop, and a can of black plastidip and BAM they have the new MS3

How do these compare to a Subaru for muh offroad?

It'd probably need a bigger turbo and a remapped ecu. CX9 motor makes peak torque at 2k rpm so I assume the turbo is small, spools instantly and trails off at higher rpm.

The same, but you don't have the downside of sitting in the Subaru.

I'm still mad because if I want a hot hatch with modern amenities I basically have the aging FoST or have to go Vag

>Mazda
>Kill rotary
>Kill Mazdaspeed
>No current gen mazdaspeed miata
Y u do dis?!

> no Mazda 6 wagon for burgers

Why the FUCK is this allowed???

>>Truck engine in a car
>nope
OI M8 WHAT U GOT AGAINST THE DODGE VIPER
I'LL FOKKEN WHOMP UR ARSE

b-but at least we have 3 crossovers, r-right guys

a-at least mazda will survive and revive the MS3, MS6, and doritos SOON(tm), r-right guys?

Mazda 6 is so sexy, im holding out for any news of a turbo or v6 with a manual
>mazda pls

What exactly do you think makes an engine a truck engine? What makes you think the CX-9 is a truck?

...

>trying to trigger fans of the car company that cares the most about feels and fun and the least about benchracing with laptimes

You know they will, give them some development time.

...

>truck engine
You're an idiot.
It's been tuned for the job. Like I said earlier, give them some development time to tailor the power and power delivery for the other chassis.
Most likely this. A turbo change is likely.
The dorito is coming back.
It's a good business move on their part. That's where a lot of money is. No money no Mazda anything.
Have faith
Oh god, that gif. Fucking triggly puff.

>benchracing

>>Truck engine in a car
didn't do the corvette any harm

That hasn't proven a problem for the Camaro or the Challenger.

>That hasn't proven a problem in these two horrendous pigfat pieces of shit

Lots of torque and heavy.

...No.

... Yes!!

You're retarded.

No you're retarded.

But it was specifically designed to go into a family hauler CUV
