Are these spark plugs a meme or are they actually good? They're the E3 Diamond Fire

Are these spark plugs a meme or are they actually good? They're the E3 Diamond Fire

Why would you buy something else than NGK or Bosch?

they are absolutely fine if you can get them for the price of a normal plug. but how do you gap them?

you dont gap them grandpa pull them out of the box and screw them in

Anything that isn't the OEM recommended plug is a meme

i can't tell a difference between my old plugs and new ones when it comes to how my engine runs. maybe i'm just replacing them too early, but they're always dirty as fuck whenever I take them out so I guess it's helping??????

This

Bosch is trash

NGK, Autolite, Motorcraft

Coppers last 30k miles when properly gapped, iridium and Platinum will like up to 80k.

Ive never actually run plugs through. I replace them maybe too often. How do you know your plugs are starting to run out of tip?

>Bosch
You should boycott all german companies. They invented job taxation (Bismarck healthcare), socialism, started communist revolution in Russia also started 2 world wars and we probably don't survive III WW.
>NGK
Do you remember Pearl Harbor?

100% meme plug.

Older vehicles require gapping and gapping get should be checked yearly young whipper snapper

Or 120K like my vehicle that's still got factory plugs in it and I'm scared to take them out at this point....

Gap them, when you remove them, check the gap.

The electrodes slowly erode furthering the gap.

I've seen plugs that are supposed to be gapped at .034 and are at about .065 after being used.

it's too late, user, they're fused into your engine in a glorious harmony of plug and cylinder head

so I assume you must have to buy them in different, preset gaps?

What happens when the electrodes start to wear? Surely the answer isn't "Just buy new plugs".. Having a larger gap wears the plug wires out faster as well.

There's no car that doesn't have at least 1 bosch electronic component in them. Tell me again why they are trash?

buy the correctly gapped plug you old crone do these plugs look gappable?

Looks more like a gimmick that blocks the spark slightly from the vapor mix. Does that huge plate over the spark area add any delay time to the ignition wavefront? That's like an indirect virtual way of retarding the spark.

so when you actually check the gap on a spark plug, find out it's out of whack, you need to buy a new fucking spark plug.

Nice. Marketing ploy of the year. Non gappable spark plugs.

There used to be a thing called reusing.

>Spark Plug Gap is important
>2016
Yup, sounds like Veeky Forums to me. Next he'll tell us alignments are primarily for fuel economy

Scam. Electricity flows through the path of least resistance. It's just going to arc to one prong. Just use stock plugs.

>Electricity flows through the path of least resistance

then why doesn't lightning only strike france?

YOU CAN'T EXPLAIN THAT BRO

I have found that aligning your car 10° toe in improves fuel economy and tread life. Don't let big tire and oil companies fool you. Stay Woke!

At first I thought you were a weeb but now I realize you're a redneck boomer.

Sparks slowly wear down the prongs of plugs, vaporizing a few atoms of metal with each tiny plasma bolt they shoot. The idea with multi prongs is that as one prong wears out, the other prongs will become viable electrodes. This gives you double or triple the electrode life, assuming your shit doesn't run lean or rich.

if spark gap isn't important why don't you go ahead and just hammer down every electrode the next time you change your plugs.

I mean, it doesn't matter, right?

Ran my cobalt on a 1000 mile trip with 2 spark plugs that looked like this. Not a single problem. That's what I think of your gap. Also maintained 32mpg throughout it.

Yeah i'm gonna have to call bullshit on that, how is the plug supposed to fire? You ran on 2 cylinders if you had 2 that looked like that

gap doesnt mean as much as it did back then, modern engines can adjust for all types of shit during combustion on the fly.

The center electrode will wear just as fast though.

these day iridium or platinum plugs are prevalant and gapping is becoming a thing of the past. plugs that stay untouched for 120k is now commonplace and when they get removed they get thrown out for fresh plugs they dont get regapped. its the sad state of the industry, but MUH PROGRESSION. the bantz were fun though

cant the spark jump to the threaded part of the plug and fire a cylinder that way?

which wear your entire ignition system out at an exceptional rate, mainly plug wires, but it also taxes the coils.

Old dragsters used to cut the electrodes clean off their plugs so the spark would be ten times bigger. They'd be able to shave a few tenths of a second off that way, but They only did it for one or two passes, though. as it taxes the fuck out of your ignition system.

you watch speed academy too?

>Plug wires
McFly, McFly! Anybody home, McFly?

they're meme city and shroud flame travel

coppers are fine. or go iridium if your plugs are a nigger to change as they last longer.

I see what you did.

Right now, there is a new invasion of France. Hegira.

If that spark plug's big top ever breaks loose because the explosion keeps on pushing on the big wide top (it has a lot of sail area to catch the explosion), then it would mangle the piston head and scratch the walls or jam into the valve opening.

These new plug concepts don't seem to have been user tested long enough with lots of normal users going out to 100K miles with the plugs.

.

The number of violent protests and anonymous sabotage are only going to go up. And those countries will have reduced freedoms as a result. How ironic a change of society for europe.

>sensible British chuckle

Since the center electrode is made out of tungsten, iridium or other exotic and exciting metals it wears at a fraction of the rate that regular carbon steel does.
