So this guy just pulled up where all the bikers chillax at

is this where we talk about honda

wow, I've never seen so many bikes

>i mean maybe the guy just wants some nachos ffs

>where bikers chillax at
Are bike nights any fun? I'm r9k-tier socially retarded and I wonder if I should go.

Guys I need some help, my bike has a wet clutch, and I've had it dry for about a month while I repaired my transmission. Now the clutch won't pull in nor can it be adjusted. Wat do.

sure, tons, you should but you won't

Nah. He works at the strip. Nice guy. That's his daily. Lil over 1500hp all kinds of bikes here like usual though

It's nice. All kinds of ppl here. Just move to kick back n look at bikes

Soak it in oil. Also, make sure you assembled it right.

>also
This gentleman just popped up.

Hmmmm

I never disassembled the clutch, it can be removed as a single unit.

Forgot pic

Soak entire unit in oil.

Have you already closed the case and filled it with oil?

Why

15th for I hope EBR makes it

Who the fuck would put an Acer sticker on their bike?

Movistar Yamaha's race bike?

Mkay

Also social retard.

The rides can be kind of fun. When everybody stops to chill it's kind of hard for me because I don't know anyone or like to talk much so I end up just standing by myself looking at bikes. People were pretty nice tho, and I've not got a whole lot else to do so I've gone a few times.

You have nothing to lose so go ahead and try going to one.

Yeah I've got it buttoned up now, this turd is stuck in gear too so trouble shooting it is the biggest pain in my ass.

nose the front wheel up to a sturdy wall then try and start it.

>you are at a bike spot
>tons of bikes around
>you are posting on a motorcycle daily
>you post ONE FUCKING PICTURE
>it's of a CAGER
>there aren't any bikes visible in picture
>wtf is wrong with you

why not stand start it

So much anger grrrr

should i?

It's just easier than hoping the front brake will hold it when you smack it into 1st gear.

Not him but I went on a ride today and saw like 20 bikes but only 1 supercar (bright orange Lamborghini Gallardo).

Plus everyone is starting to leave. Tomorrow is gonna be super packed if it don't rain

do it then

i've never ridden a sport bike. only my ujm

what bike

DO EEEIT

I mean I'm half hard and it's not even my state

nighthawk750

it's a great deal right? i want eeet bad

Its a fair bit more power, but you'll be ok if you have been riding for a while.

i just don't wanna accidentally dank whoolie onto my ass. i think i'd get used to it

I mean the ad is 24 days old
you're probably losing sleep over a sold bike

It's stuck in gear, before I fucked up my battery is limped it aroundbother block trying to loosen the clutch.

fug i didn't even realize

it sounds like you fucked something up

like you put something in backwards or tightened something that should have moved or left a wrench inside

open it up because you fucked it up

I can still move up and down gears on my bike with the clutch out and the motor not running. Just might need to let the bike move forward or backward a little and it shift up or down.

Are you sure it still isn't a transmission problem?

and real resistance in the lever?
if no you may have lost the thrust bearing for the pushrod while it was apart

never know if he doesnt call him tho

I'm confident that I didn't fuck it up, I had to pull the transmission to fix a broken shift lever, I pulled the primary sprocket, primary chain, and the clutch and the then transmission. Before remount in the clutch, chain and sprocket I tested the transmission and it shifted fine. I'm sure it's a seized clutch, the adjusting mechanism doesn't compress the clutch, nor does the clutch lever. I've left it sit for a day, I'm gonna try it again tomorrow.

did you disassemble the clutch basket or take it off as a complete unit?

true. true.

can you get it into Neutral?

This is no thrust bearing, this bike is a harley sportster with an Evo engine, it's been a breeze to work on so far.

call him

The bike will not shift out of gear at all. The clutch came out at a unit, I need a specialty tool to disassemble it.

so what actuates the clutch? most of the jap bikes use a single ball between the basket and pushrod, its stupidly easy to lose when taking things apart and will make the clutch useless without it

call him tomorrow, it's like midnight there

The clutch is depressed by a rotating plate that is actuated by the clutch cable, adjusting it is basically the same plate but it's position from fully depressed and relaxed is adjusted.

>kickstand broke off drz the other day
>race car's new slave cylinder started shitting already yesterday
>tonight clutch cable broke on zx9r.
>tfw stuff breaking just in time for weekend :'(

Hi /dbt/. Have my test in an hour. Wish me luck. Will report back. Hopefully I will be hasbike soon.

break a leg

Who's out enjoying this lovely night?

what bike you doing test on, and what bike you wanna buy?

>night
M8, stop drinking the seawater, it's bad for you.
It's bloody 2:45 in the afternoon for fucks sake.

you and your boyfriend, obviously

A2 so a cb500f. Thinking a about getting a gs500, ninja 250 or a duke 390. Leaning mostly towards the duke.

It's alot easier than you think it's gonna be (assuming you're american)

>gs500
Good if you can get for cheap then swap in some 0.80kg/mm springs for the forks

Almost 1am here lil fella.

You jelly?

if he is american an hour would put him square in the middle of the fucking night for his test

I was going to but it rained here earlier and the guy I was gonna go with fell asleep

>lil fella
for you, ya fat fuck

>tfw don't know what bike next

What should I buy as my second bike?

I'm tall. Commute about 15mi a day on the highway. Like to drive two hours south sometime.

I'm thinking a heavy sumo or a nice street fighter like street triple or FZ-09.

Pls. Help.

Not even close to being fat but ty :)

indecisive bikemind

I want a VFR750 but hate the tail section :/

helmets: black or white?

honda a shit though

neither, but if I had to choose one, white. Black has so many marks show up on it.

good thing you won't have to look at it while riding yeah?

>neither
why?

Thoughts?
jacksonville.craigslist.org/mcy/5644474944.html
Does this seem like a scam to you?

because they're generic and scuffs show up so easily when it's 1 tone.

i saw that pic that harley poster posted with your double chin

yeah tbqh

:^)

Just get a qt pillion i guess, r-right?

>Modern models look like shit
>Older double headlight models are high km and old or priced highly
Why do you want a VFR specifically?

>you will die one day
>you will never find out about all the cool bikes made after your death

I'm completely expecting bikes to be outlawed in my lifetime

do you like, live in a cuckhole?

well yeah

Must be in yurop

Rf-1200 what scheme then, red/black valkyrie to pair with a Honda, Ducati, or aprilla?

>implying we won't see the death of bikes in our lifetime
everything will be electric autopilot cars

only thirdworld shit countrys won't have that but I couldn't care less for the future-gen honda cub

Hahaha. Sure why not. I have a 32 inch waistline and pt a looooot for work. So whatever helps you sleep at night

...

Forgot your rossipic cuck

just preference but of that model I like the Valkyrie TC-4 or TC-2 depending on what your bike is.

The sound. There's one on craigslist here, 33k's, $3200.

what year? you can get bikes with a lot lower km's than that and probably newer for less.

just buying a bike for the sound is kind of autistic, it's actually one of the things that matter the least.

My bike is plain black, but I'll be looking to get a different one next year, undecided yet
>tfw no dark green companies
>tfw no dark purple

1997
>sounds doesn't matter
>muh soul
>muh passion

Dominance TC-5 might be cool then, but idk

>implying electric isnt held back by battery technology
Electric bikes are still 10kg heavier and 10 horsepower less than 4 strokes so its not there yet and i doubt it will be any time soon, batteries are some of the slowest developing technologies.
Use the KTM freeride as an example here, the electric bike is 110kg with 21 horsepower, the 250cc 4 stroke version of the bike is 93kg and 28 horsepower.

the only place electric has managed to do well so far is in pikes peak due to not losing power at altitude.
