Reduce weight? From just the hatch? It might save a little, it might be so close it won't make any difference. Improve stiffness and aerodynamics? Stiffness probably isn't going to change at all. You're unbolting one hatch and bolting on another that just looks different. Aerodynamics also probably won't change much either. You'll have a little more downforce closer to the rear wheels, but that's it.

So yeah.
