Engine stroke would be too long for it tod rev without exploding, 5 valves add useless rotating valvetrain mass(and Ford has no experience with complicated 5v heads) so 4v would be better, and why the hell would you use an iron block?

Straight-sixer is perfectly balanced, though. The only things as good as it are V12 and boxer engines. V6 is a rattlebox.

Mass production taken into account and all of its cost cutting measures in quality control, iron blocks take boost and other pressure related stresses better than aluminum (currently, at least)

Show me an example of that then. GM's 5.3 for example, that's a perfect A to B comparison, and both the aluminium and iron version can take a beating, and the internals fail before the block does, as it should be with any proper design.

I don't know of any good other direct comparisons where the aluminium block fails before the internals do. Usually, it's just that some iron blocks come with really tough internals that propagate this automotive rumor.

An engine can't move without a chassis and other components paired to it. A engine can't be "faster" than another engine. It can make more power but it can't be faster (unless you're talking about rpms). It's not my fault you're an idiot
