I had an extensive Dangan Ronpa/Battle Royale dream. It was Moreso the latter, but the lives of the hundreds of students involved were considered pretty unimportant across the board with a handful of actual Dangan characters appearing.

Attack chopper like in DR3 ended up killing quite a few. Before Junko and Mukuro even appeared, the story went nutty. I'll keep the RNG factor a secret as it may prove to be quite handy in the future, however the first person offered up as a victim that NEEDED to be killed according to the Despair twins was Great Gozu, a student at the time, who proceeded to then dive off the top of this giant 50 story school building and do a slamming punch into some enemy bots. Rather than die, he ended up having to fight off many more, and prepared to then scale the building again to save the others before being attacked by some Power Ranger-esque opponents.

Somehow he finally managed to overpower everything and escaped to the shoreline, finding a police station and a crowd of people who were vacationing that had no interest in what was going on. The police then didn't believe him because he was running around in a bull mask and his story sounded absurd.

When I dream across a long sleep, I often get extremely lengthy dreams as a result. They aren't nightmares in most cases, but can have elements of both fear and suspense.

I also tend to dream in a videogame format now and again, where my mind defines the parameters of the game's rules and everything in the dream follows those mechanics. The suspense then comes from the legitimate challenge of the game. When the game is like a danmaku or some retro platformer, the pressure comes from never having experienced this seemingly first time through a level.

So yeah, I procedurally generate videogames when I sleep.

I do indeed game a lot. I think that there is no real pattern to my dreams, but there will often be things like aiming mechanics or something, or sometimes I'll even have a controller that translates into how my body moves. I recall at one point last night I was more or less functioning on the Unreal engine for Gears of War style survival for a part of the dream that was suuuuper earlier than the Gozu bit.

As far as the other question goes, lucid dreams no, however often I'll think about something I want to happen within the dream and it'll pan out from a narrative standpoint. It's more or less lucid.
